“We rarely go out for breakfast/brunch but decided to to go out for our 25th anniversary. Joey immediately greeted us with his warm smile and helped up find a seat. He then went through the menu and gave us his recommendations and boy was he spot on. I ordered the crab cake Benedict which I say with zero exaggeration was THE best crab cake that I have ever had. It is stuffed with crab and is crispy on the outside while being soft and delicious on the inside. The hollandaise is THE best I have ever had being so creamy with a hint of sweetness. It was like a work of art with each layer revealing something even more delicious. The egg was perfectly cooked and yet a hidden gem under the crab. It was a feast for the eyes and the stomach! My husband had the chicken and waffles. I am not a waffle person but this was something that was out of this world good! Plus, the chicken was crispy and moist with that hot honey that gave it a kick with delicious sweetness! The unsuspecting treat was the Green Envy drink, I rarely order anything but water but decided to try something new. It was beyond refreshing with its savory (my mouth is watering thinking about it) yet sweet notes mingled together. Between Joey and the amazingly kind yet talented staff, we went back two days in a row. This is easily our favorite restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!“

“Was there today. Met some friends for coffee. It was great! And I had a raspberry white chocolate scone warmed so the butter melted into every knock and cranny .... so good! You should stop by and enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee and a special treat.“

“Whenever I travel, I love to go to a local coffee shop, have a coffee, and buy a mug (with the shop’s name or logo on it) as a souvenir. A couple weeks ago, my husband and I had the privilege of camping overnight at the Holland State Park Beach Campground before our final leg back to Illinois. On our way out of town, we made a special stop at KIN coffee so I could purchase a latte and buy a mug. The barista was just the sweetest person and I ordered an iced Lavender Bee latte from her. It was excellent! Unfortunately, the shop seemed to be out of mugs to buy. Oh well! However, Lynn (owner?) overheard our conversation, and let’s just say, she went to great lengths to find a mug for me, which was so appreciated. The coffee shop is adorable and so inviting inside and out (there’s the cutest patio), and if I lived in Holland, I would be there all the time. The place was very busy, but the workers were so wonderful, and they really do make you feel like kin! And the coffee was wonderful! Now I am drinking from my mug at home, where the coffee isn’t as good, thinking about my next trip to KIN!“

Good coffee is very important to me. Anytime I'm traveling, I try to find the best local spots and this is a gem. If I were in town, they would be my go-to for fresh roasted beans and a flavored latte treat!

Over the years, this place has been a nice refuge from the typical burnt Starbucks bean. They roast on site to bring out the nuance in their well-sourced beans, and they are more than happy to take about the details of their coffee process. I always take a bag home with me to the city.

The people are great, and the space is chill. An easy place to get a treat and do a little work, or just a place to pick up great coffee to get the day going.

Sidenote - I'm not normally a flavored coffee drink person, but they have a seasonal (that is soon to be permanent) miso caramel latte that is 🔥👌🏼“

I didn’t really care for it even though I order that pretty much everywhere The only food or snack they had were muffin tops that are prepackaged and refrigerated because they’re not just room temperature, they’re cold. “The staff is always welcoming and kind! They have the best food selection for a coffee shop (in my opinion). They come up with unique, but DELICIOUS, menu items that always bring me back! Their drip coffee never disappoints but they also have tea options among so many others for the perfect drink no matter the season!“

“I just went through the drive thru and I didn't catch her name. She was a young blonde girl with glasses, very sweet hearted person. Sweeter than my Caramel white mocha with extra caramel. Keep her Starbucks! She's got such a great personality. She's amazing with customers.“

Don't use the road to the west for right turns because the light will back past that. Turning left out of Speedway is going to be tricky and require light traffic and a bit of luck.“
