“Such a cute shop, the patio was adorable! Coffee was absolutely fantastic and fresh. The food was made right in front of us with fresh ingredients, and the staff was so friendly. Perfect place to grab a coffee and sandwich on our way out of town.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread, healthy options & great baked goods!“
“Very good food. My wife got the Hippie Hash with tempeh with Russian sauce and I got the same just with corned beef. Our friend got a turkey panini. We all were floored with the delicious food, cozy ambiance, and friendly staff. If you are considering stopping by for something to eat or to shop from their wide selection of handmade trinkets, I would strongly recommend it!!“
“If you want excellent coffee brewed in a variety of ways this is the spot in Holland. I can be overbearing with my own coffee nerdiness but the barista was nice and tolerated my curiosities, even bringing me my phone when I forgot it in the cafe. Espresso is top notch and the pour over is good too. All the recs from me.“
“One of my top two favorite coffee joints in Holland. I walk from work almost daily when the weather is nice! I absolutely adore most of the baristas. My only drink is the Nitro Cold Brew- when it is made right- it is PERFECT. The cold foam is addicting. The atmosphere is a great place to read, meet with friends, or just hang out.“
“Diner style food in a classic stepping back in time, slightly grubby kind of atmosphere. If you find the breakfast bill at Anna's House shocking, the Wooden Shoe will be a welcome change. This place is always busy for that reason, along with the huge warm cinnamon rolls and corned beef hash omelets.“
“Best people, best shakes! I love all the people I've met here and all the connections I've made. I stopped in when they first opened because I wanted a quick, healthy shake before work and have been coming back ever since. They are all about community involvement, and it really shows. I can't say enough good things about this place or these people!Vegetarian options: They have vegan options now!Kid-friendliness: The environment is very kid friendly! They even have shakes for kids! My kids love coming to the Thursday night walking group and getting protein balls after.“
“I have liked everything I have had here so far. She has a vegan menu as well as a general menu. I am vegan and look forward to going here Everytime. The lady that owns this cafe is the sweetest lady I enjoy her so much when I go in here.Vegetarian options: She has a vegetarian or vegan option for everything on her menu. Her pig in the blankets are vegan and EXCELLENT!!!Dietary restrictions: She has dairy free itemsWheelchair accessibility: It is a very small cafe but you can easily get in and out with a wheelchair“
“Cute little coffee shop. A friend had a bag of their ground coffee and it was excellent so my husband and I thought we would check out the shop. He got the nitro cold brew and loved it. I requested a latte that they no longer had on their menu, but had it listed online. The barista kindly offered to make it even though it wasn’t an offering on their current selection. I am glad she did as it was delicious . If we lived closer, I would make it a regular stop.“
“Very much enjoyed our first visit. The staff was wonderful, the food came out fast and was delicious. I had the savory biscuits and gravy. Their gravy is a unique take on the traditional version and it was very flavorful and tasty on their yummy biscuits. My son tried the pancakes and they were super big and fluffy. On our way out we grabbed some of the petit fours in the cafe to-go and they also tasted great. A++ experience. Will definitely be back soon.“
“We were in the area and during a ride we happened upon Outside Coffee Co. We were so happy that we did because it was like a little oasis of good vibes and good drinks. The cafe is a mixture of a cafe and apparel and merch shop. They sell local art and lots of great products. They also rent equipment like umbrellas, bikes, etc. for you to enjoy the dunes nearby. There is plenty of parking and there are plenty of drink options. Both warm and iced. I ordered a lemonade and it was freshly squeezed, y'all. I LOVE IT. The kids had an icee and iced matcha. The part we loved the most was the outside of the cafe. They have unique seating, like swings on a table, and hammocks to relax on. There is pretty lighting, and I don't know what it is but the breeze just felt different there. It was a nice place to relax. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and helpful. The owner, and artist, was so friendly and welcomed us into her store. She explained how she made her art and a little history of the shop. All in all, they have great coffee and drinks, an awesome ambiance and vibe, and great staff. If you're in the Douglas or Saugatuck area, make sure you plan on stopping by. It's totally worth the visit to relax, take in some zen and caffeine, and maybe take some art home with you. Can't wait to visit again!Parking: Lots of parking.Kid-friendliness: Definitely have kid-friendly options.“
