“This place is the absolute best! I love everything I’ve tried from here. The espresso chocolate cookies may just be the best cookie I’ve ever had. Their pizzas are amazing too! I really love the Kosovo pizza. The burek with the spicy red pepper sauce is my absolute favorite! All of the scones and patties I’ve tried from here I would order again (and I’ve tried plenty). This place deserves so much hype it’s absolutely outstanding! From the food to the employees/customer service, this place is an 12/10!!“

“My son just graduated from high school and wanted donuts at his graduation party. I decided to order from Phoenix Rising and I am so glad I did!! The ordering was easy and they were super friendly to work with. I ordered 15 dozen in addition to donut holes. They were delicious and beautiful. They gave us a large variety and it was all ready on time. I am so happy we ordered from here. Couldn’t be happier with the process. We definitely found our new donut place.“

Daddy Dough’s cookies were such a unique addition to the party. We placed an individually wrapped cookie at every seat, and I am not sure if there was a cookie left behind. Additionally, I never write reviews. That said, when I state that Midnight Patisserie offers the finest pastries I have ever experienced, I mean it wholeheartedly. I had the pleasure of trying the black sesame cinnamon roll and the apple kouign-amann. I am truly impressed by how their artisan was able to create a dough that is both soft and flaky. The apples were expertly seasoned, maintaining a delightful texture without being overly processed or sweet. They retained just enough firmness, which complemented the overall texture of the pastry beautifully. The black sesame cinnamon roll may very well be my favorite indulgence ever. Black sesame can be a challenging flavor to work with, as it can easily become overpowering in both taste and texture. However, a masterful balance was achieved in this pastry. In short: Midnight Patisserie demonstrates exceptional skill in their craft and I encourage everyone to give them a try.“

“The Wilderness has chosen...Sara's Sweets as the best bakery in GR! I was so nervous to submit my very niche request for a Yellowjackets themed cake for my birthday/the S3 premiere. I sent a few inspiration photos, but had no idea what to expect. When I say they exceeded my expectations, that is an understatement. The cake was PERFECT. From the hand-carved chocolate antlers, to the hidden rune symbols, to the HELIOTROPE purple cake color, I couldn't have imagined a better outcome. The best part? It was DELICIOUS!! “I've Been going to Van's pastry shop for the majority of my life, we lived around the corner from vans for 30yrs, and still even till this day even though my parents moved and us kids we still go to vans to get our goodies. It's the number one bakery on my list to go to and I'm still in the neighborhood not too far away so I still stop in here from time to time. “I've used NBC for two events now and ordered a variety of flavors in the bundtini's for both events. Each time the bundtini's were a major hit! There have been very few left overs each time, much to my dismay.😉Ordering and pick up is a breeze, you can tell they do catering/orders regularly and they have their systems down. The price point is really affordable in my opinion. I will probably continue to use them if I need desserts at an event again in the future. Easy decision, and very tasty.“

“Due to health issues, my diet is restricted, especially in areas of carbohydrates, sodium, and sugar. A fan of granola but not eating much these days as my diet no nos prohibit much of granolas offered. One day at VG’s in Fenton Michigan I accidentally came across a small Made in Michigan display with some of your product there. Looking at the nutrition analysis, the numbers were favorable. So, began with Dried Cherry and absolutely loved it! Then added Peanut Butter and Original. You make the best Granola. We will be consuming much of your fine product line. Keep it in Michigan! “This is my favorite new bakery, I came here because a few years ago my brother ordered a strawberry tres leches cake for my nieces birthday and it was hands down the most amazing cake I've ever tasted in my life. I ended up ordering two cakes and 24 cupcakes and everything was amazing. I love that they have so many different flavors to choose from and they even offer filled cupcakes. Everyone at the party talked about how delicious everything was. “Overall, this is a great establishment. We’ve been going to this location for over 6 years and are rarely anything but delighted with the food and service. Recently, it appears that they began a pretty steep Gluten free surcharge on all of their sandwiches and pizza. It used to be a no charge (which I get was actually super generous and likely unsustainable) but now it’s swung to the highest in the area. It feels punitive to those that are excited to have some normality that you guys can offer to have to pay essentially 30+% more for bread they can eat. Your sandwiches are already on the pricey side but we always justified that by being local, being good, and being grateful. I’ve long championed you as the best option out there for somebody with gluten restrictions, and that became just a little harder to do.“

“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“It had been awhile since I got an apple pie from Robinette. Bought one Saturday 11/2. When I looked at it, it appeared to be smaller than in the past....it was. The flavor was good. We like slightly undercooked apples, but,pretty undercooked. undercooked. As for the size, I'd rather pay more and get the size pie from the past. Even the apple filling was a lot less.“
