“I called Sara’s Sweets on a Thursday afternoon and they told me they could have a cake ready by Saturday morning at 10 am. It was simple, a white cake with white buttercream frosting and shredded coconut on the outside and a little “Happy Birthday” on the board in purple. They created the perfect cake for my mom’s birthday. We were in from out of town and it was the icing on the cake (literally) to her birthday. The cake designer went above and beyond to make not only the cake perfect but also our experience. He was friendly, and clearly has a passion for what he does. “We had Nothing Bundt Cakes for our wedding and everyone raved about them! Ashley (the coordinator I worked with at NBC) was always very responsive and helpful in the planning process. We estimated for 2 bundtinis per person and it was the perfect amount! Their cakes are always so delicious and our guests loved having the choice of different flavors. Our cutting cake was an 8" bundt cake with the drizzle frosting...so beautiful with some flowers in the center! Can't say enough good things about this experience with them for our wedding!“

I left it in my car, and snacked on it for like four days. It stayed that fresh that long, talk about a happy camper. Thing was i went there to or donuts. Where I usually got to Royal Dutch Bakery in Grandville. I did buy a long john stuffed with chocolate here. It was yummy too.“

A fan of granola but not eating much these days as my diet no nos prohibit much of granolas offered. One day at VG’s in Fenton Michigan I accidentally came across a small Made in Michigan display with some of your product there. Looking at the nutrition analysis, the numbers were favorable. So, began with Dried Cherry and absolutely loved it! Then added Peanut Butter and Original. You make the best Granola. We will be consuming much of your fine product line. Keep it in Michigan! Blessed Christmas Season!“

“Cute little French Pastry shop! I’ve actually never had Macarons before so I figured that I must try them while I’m here! I got a S’mores and a Birthday Cake. The S‘mores was pretty good but the Birthday Cake was incredible! I definitely wish that I got two of those but I’m glad that I tried two different flavors so no regrets!“

“This is my favorite new bakery, I came here because a few years ago my brother ordered a strawberry tres leches cake for my nieces birthday and it was hands down the most amazing cake I've ever tasted in my life. I ended up ordering two cakes and 24 cupcakes and everything was amazing. I love that they have so many different flavors to choose from and they even offer filled cupcakes. Everyone at the party talked about how delicious everything was. “Overall, this is a great establishment. We’ve been going to this location for over 6 years and are rarely anything but delighted with the food and service. Recently, it appears that they began a pretty steep Gluten free surcharge on all of their sandwiches and pizza. It used to be a no charge (which I get was actually super generous and likely unsustainable) but now it’s swung to the highest in the area. It feels punitive to those that are excited to have some normality that you guys can offer to have to pay essentially 30+% more for bread they can eat. Your sandwiches are already on the pricey side but we always justified that by being local, being good, and being grateful. I’ve long championed you as the best option out there for somebody with gluten restrictions, and that became just a little harder to do.“

“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“It had been awhile since I got an apple pie from Robinette. Bought one Saturday 11/2. When I looked at it, it appeared to be smaller than in the past....it was. The flavor was good. We like slightly undercooked apples, but,pretty undercooked. undercooked. As for the size, I'd rather pay more and get the size pie from the past. Even the apple filling was a lot less.“
