August 8, 2022We got a table right away that Monday night it was just after 8p.m.(closing at 9:00.) Took some time for a waiter to acknowledge, he apologized. My old fashioned made with Maker's Mark bourbon (nice), came with fruit not muddled. I got a sugar packet and crushed it in with the fruit. The waiter offered a new drink, but I said no. The food has gotten much better! Coral Gables was traditionally one of those places in a great location with marginal food and service. I've been going since the 1980s.This Sundays lunch was really tasty and reasonably priced.. same great view of the river, lake and boats. If you're willing to roll the dice on going out onto the rickety old deck, it makes for a great lunch (with the excitement of waiting for the deck to disintegrate around you)
