Coral Gables is so much fun.We went as a small group of 8 to Saturday comedy club night everyone had a great time.We would defiantly revisit Coral GablesVegetarian options: All Vegetarians eat. Differently and accept different foods on their Vegetarian list So it is clearly up to that person to ask question about the food and order accordingly.

Saw a comedy show here. The show itself was set up nicely, but a local patron ruined the show! The food is nothing special and less than bar quality. The staff was friendly, but the venue needs a lot of work. This place is a dump by all accounts, which is sad from what we were told it used to be back in the day!

August 8, 2022We got a table right away that Monday night it was just after 8p.m.(closing at 9:00.) Took some time for a waiter to acknowledge, he apologized. My old fashioned made with Maker's Mark bourbon (nice), came with fruit not muddled. I got a sugar packet and crushed it in with the fruit. The waiter offered a new drink, but I said no. My partner's second beer was a no show, so he got up to find it. Explanation: the bartender had to search for another Coors Light in a bottle and found it at another bar and got it all the way back here. The story proved that they would work hard for us but we were not told until after the fact.The preference is to have a beer not wait with no word. Keep the customer informed. A different beer order is fine.The hanging pretzel with bar cheese was wonderful. The Karver's Beef sandwich that my husband had was great, a very good suggestion from our waiter. The lobster cavatappi cheese dish I had was excellent.We were asked to leave the dining room after 9:00p.m. Told that "the manager wants to go home" and we may take our drinks into the bar or sit at a table near the docks. We went outside by the docks where a fish cleaning station stank up the atmosphere.I don't understand why we couldn't stay put for another possible 15 minutes or even less to finish our drinks. That lack of hospitality was striking.

The food has gotten much better! Coral Gables was traditionally one of those places in a great location with marginal food and service. I've been going since the 1980s.This Sundays lunch was really tasty and reasonably priced.. same great view of the river, lake and boats. If you're willing to roll the dice on going out onto the rickety old deck, it makes for a great lunch (with the excitement of waiting for the deck to disintegrate around you)

The place is just OK. We only stopped in for the stand-up comedy show on Saturday. We have visited Saugatuck for the past four years, but usually avoided this place due to the negative reviews about the food, service, and dated/dirty decor. But since we were only going for the comedy show, we took a chance. The show was OK and generated a few laughs. But one of the performers (I forget his name) was so terrible, it made the atmosphere super cringy and awkward during his set. All in all, we weren't totally turned off by the experience, likely because we went in with low expectations!

The bouncer outside the piano bar grabbed my friend by her arm and gave her a panic attack. There are some bars you can walk outside with your drinks and apparently some that you can't. He was incredibly rude about us having our drinks when there aren't any signs and we walks 2 feet. DONT PUT YOUR HANDS ON CUSTOMERS.
