“We stayed at Waypost Brewing as part of our Harvest Host membership (overnight RV parking). Plenty of room for that... and a great outdoor seating area! There were plenty of tables and games (cornhole). It was cold the day we were there so we didn't sit outside for long.I know it's a brewery (I'm not a beer drinker) but they didn't offer any other beverage choices (hard cider, wine, seltzers).All in all a great stop (kind of off the beaten path)... go if you're in the area!”

“Omg, just had dinner there for the first time. This is now my favorite olive burger!! Onion rings were so sweet and crispy! My hunny had a Bacon dbl that was outstanding and super good fries!! And the Funnel cake with banana and caramel sauce was scrumdillyiscious!! Fast, friendly service was also very appreciated! Nice job!”

“Very cool and beautiful place to drink cider, have some snacks, and hang out with some friends. They have plenty of seating outside and limited seating inside. Other than that, it’s really cool. Recommend this place if you want to chill, maybe cozy up to a fire pit and tell some stories.”

“My husband and I have been to Hawks Head several times in the past. Each time we went were very happy with our dinners. Saturday’s visit was equally wonderful. On a beautiful summer day it’s difficult to leave the beach to go indoors. We were seated near the windows and felt like we were outside despite being inside. The staff could not have been nicer. I requested a drink not typically on the menu and the bar tender quickly mixed it for me. The food was delicious. The portions were so big we couldn’t finish our dinner. We were too full for desert which was too bad because they sounded wonderful. I have only one suggestion. On the menue was what sounded like an an interesting appetizer…. Potatoe chips with lots of toppings (honey, blue cheese, bacon, blueberries) We would have tried them but there was only one size and I presume it was large because it cost $18. Thank you”

“Tourists please don't review this place, we know there is better Mexican food in chicago. As far as the area, this place has the best Mexican food by far! Fajitas are exceptional and tons of food for leftovers, steak tacos are always great, rice & beans are on point. Maybe not the most authentic but great food and EXCELLENT service. Great specials! So happy to have this restaurant in the area.”
