My husband and I have been to Hawks Head several times in the past. Each time we went were very happy with our dinners. Saturday’s visit was equally wonderful. On a beautiful summer day it’s difficult to leave the beach to go indoors. We were seated near the windows and felt like we were outside despite being inside. The staff could not have been nicer. We held our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here on June 9. Greg and his staff are extremely accommodating and attentive. They helped with set up and take down and serving our cake that we brought. The wait staff kept everyone’s glasses full. We chose 3 dinner options for our guests, the beef medallions, the white fish and the chicken. The food was delicious. If you're looking for fine dining in South Haven you only have a few choices but HawksHead is absolutely the best. Beautiful setting on HawksHead Links golf course and overlooks a portion of the Black River, in a delightful inn. The Lobster Bisque is unbelievable! And there are some really good steaks along with some creative dishes like a quinoa bowl. The staff is always polite and helpful. Just a really good, nice break from the bustle of downtown with really great food!
