“My friend and I took a road trip on Tuesday, Dec 12th, from Holland down to the Benton Harbor area, so we decided to give Dave's a try based on their reviews. We were anything but disappointed! The food was great, our server Nikki was awesome, and the prices were very competitive. Nikki was handling the dining room all by herself. She kept up just fine. She was fun, funny, and really made our visit enjoyable. Next time I'm in South Haven I will definitely go back!Parking: Plenty of room for the size of the restaurant.“
“I used to work here during college/pandemic times. They trained and certified all staff in food safety & this is by FAR the cleanest kitchen I have ever worked in or seen. They have high standards for their staff and treat them very well! Additionally, dishes are made from scratch with fresh ingredients. They buy from and support local businesses and farms seasonally and I can’t give them enough praise. I can’t say the same praises for other restaurants, specifically chains that I’ve worked in previously. Three blondes is a cut above the rest! Eat here knowing you are being served quality food prepared correctly :)“
“My family and I went in there for dinner tonight, the best service we've had in a very long time. I'm not sure what our waitresses' name was, but she was amazing! She was so friendly and on top of everything. Even our 11 year old kept saying "Mom she's so good. We need to leave her a good tip." Which we did, biggest one we've left on a long time. “Food was decent. HUGE portions. Mussels had way too much butter. Burgers were good. Clam chowder soup was good as well as the French onion soup. The cobb salad was WAAAY too big, it was enough to feed the entire table. Ask for half or get a side salad.“

A MUST DO for a quick slice or sub to get you through the moments and onto another great memory with your family!!!! “If you're looking for fine dining in South Haven you only have a few choices but HawksHead is absolutely the best. Beautiful setting on HawksHead Links golf course and overlooks a portion of the Black River, in a delightful inn. The Lobster Bisque is unbelievable! And there are some really good steaks along with some creative dishes like a quinoa bowl. The staff is always polite and helpful. Just a really good, nice break from the bustle of downtown with really great food!“
“I have only done drive through. The food is delicious, just too salty. Their cheese curds are wonderful and a good portion size too. The onion rings were crispy but very salty (and I usually add salt to my food). My family enjoys the Rueben and root energy floats.The food is always fresh. Plan to wait few minutes, but it is worth it.“
“Held a Birthday party here. At first the staff seemed to stand offish and kind of rude, but after about 30 mins they warmed up and were more pleasant . The food was good. Sundays are half off pizza , the pizza is delicious and there is a large variety for a bowling alley. They actually have a very large dine in restaurant and bar ! They are very kid friendly. Overall my kids had a great time, the adults had a great time and the food was good. “I am visiting from Illinois, and my girlfriend and I LOVE Italian food. We looked on Google for a very nice Italian restaurant in South Haven, MI, and Tello Italian Bistro popped up. Long story short, my girlfriend and I walked inside for a nice night out, and immediately felt at home.With such good customer service from the cook, to the server (Joanne), even from the General Manager (Christy). AMAZING food, and very friendly people. Will definitely recommend this place to all my friends when they are in South Haven, MI.“
“Had no idea this was here, but visiting my mom in SoHa and she recommended lunch here after an appointment. Cute place, good service and the BLT with Bob's bacon was absolutely perfect. Only taking away 1 star because the fries were way over salted.“
