“This is down home place where people in the community come - always a good sign. The owner was waiting on tables - another good sign. Food was basic and very good. The coffee was hot. I recommend getting Dave's Omelet and two regular pancakes. Enough to feed two people with some left over.“

“stopped in at the bar for a summer drink, got immediate attention from the bar keep. Ordered a drink with ice, got glass of water with ice and then our drink. Got the bill afterward and was charged $2.00 for the ice in my drink, yet the ice in the water was free? Didn't ask for the water, yet received it FREE with the ice. Had I known, would have had my drink neat and then added the FREE ice to my drink, saving me $2.00
Looked around the restaurant and saw a large party on the porch, with several kids at the table, with glasses of soda at their spots. Wondered, do they charge $2.00 a glass of soda with ice? The restaurant is certainly worth the visit, but if you go, consider bringing in your bag of ice, otherwise, you may get charged $2.00 for ice in your drink.“

“the course is one of the most fun to play in the state. Great shots are rewarded and the very bad are penalized. course was in great shape. the staff was wonderful. the houses were very nice and suited our needs; although we would have liked a larger patio to gather our entire group which rented both houses. a true hidden gem.“
