The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. We even got a private room! The service (with Amy) was excellent. And, the food (filets, white fish, and salmon) we all had was the best ever! All eight of us were thoroughly satisfied.
We visited on a quiet weekday evening so there was no restaurant din at all. Bar area looked lively but in the dining room, we were able to sit and talk easily. Our server was friendly and attentive. The sunflower crusted Lake Superior whitefish was outstanding as was the Angus burger. Great ambience, not at all what I expected, with floor to ceiling windows providing great views of the creek and big trees.
Alright food, although some of the steaks were overcooked or undercooked. Would recommend to get here seven hours early because that’s how long it takes for the food to arrive. Overall, decent service waiter was very nice and helpful. I was very disappointed in the overall inconsistency with the temperatures that we asked for when ordering the steak.
