Gigantic portions. Fresh bread was delicious. Cute atmosphere. Quick service. Great value considering how much good food you get.
We were a group of 3 senior ladies, traveling from Chicago to Traverse City, who stopped at Ida Reds for breakfast. They ask you to sign in and then seat you in that order. Phenomenal is the best word to describe our food. I haven’t had French toast as my mom cooked since I was a kid….I’m 73. Don’t like pancakes but I tasted them from my friend….gosh, what I’ve been missing! My other friend had the basted eggs with ham and fresh fried potato slices…enough for 2 people...read full review
We live in Saugatuck and enjoy going for brunch occasionally. We recommend the cornmeal pancakes and blueberry muffins. The omlet/scrambles are fantastic. The winter hours significantly reduce their schedule (open Friday thru Sunday). Because it is so popular, in the summertime, you will have to wait to get in.
