I'm reluctant to criticize my absolutely favorite restaurant but there is this one thing that really runs counter to their overall service philosophy. The menu offers "small plates" for people who want smaller portions, like me. But why does smaller portions translate into small plates? Smaller portions still cost quite a bit, like $18 to $25. One of our favorite places in Saugatuck/Douglas. Wait staff is friendly & helpful. I like to order off the menu as I only eat fish & so I am able to get a lovely grilled salmon sandwich. The whitefish and walleye dinners are favorites. My companion enjoys the choppino and bouillabaisse. So relaxing to sit inside and enjoy the lovely gardens.

We spent last evening on the beautifully upgraded patio at Clearbrook. First off, a million thanks to host, Sharon, who helped me out after two attempts to secure a reservation online. Our service was excellent and the osso bucco was as fabulous as the days before Covid. It was wonderful to see some old, very familiar faces. I have read some negative reviews regarding this restaurant but I can tell you that we loved it as did everyone seated next to us. We will be back!
