We go out for breakfast most Saturdays, and are always on the hunt for places with good coffee and flavorful food.
Caribbean Sunrise delivers! We have loved everything we have ordered. But, the new breakfast bowl with roasted pork and chimichurri is worth ordering on repeat. Given their wood roasted coffee a try, it's smooth without any bitterness.

Absolutely top tier stuff. The Caribbean Hash is incredible - by far the best corned beef hash I've had in my life. It's got a unique sweet flavor. Like every time I took a bite I did the thing where you close your eyes and go "mmm oh my God that's good." Very fair prices too, especially for the area. The guava pastry was solid. Would've liked a little more guava but it was still good.
Super cool place. Very friendly staff. Great presentation of food.

Caribbean Sunrise is a small restaurant with a very nice environment and great atmosphere. The food is delicious, amazing, and flavorful. Specific dishes mentioned include the Sunny Pernil bowl, marinated pork, corned beef mixed with sweet plantain, soup full of flavor, and fantastic empanadas that were on point. The best cafeteria on the North Lakeshore for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, with Summer grill cookouts to look forward to. The owner is extremely nice, warm, friendly, personable, and wonderful, making everyone feel welcome and like family. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant shows attention to details, like correct steps of service. The restaurant is worth the drive, even from an hour or two away, and is great for a meal before going to the beach or window shopping downtown Holland. Caribbean Sunrise also offers delivery and call ahead take out pickup.
