“Went there for my 60th birthday. Service was good. The food was good. I'm not giving it 5 stars, because the portion were very small.“

“This is an interesting place. It's not very big, so when we arrived there were a few people standing outside. At first, I thought they were just waiting for takeout orders, but they were actually waiting on line to be seated. There is no room inside, so they have a sign posted to just wait outside to be seated, no check in required. We were seated within a few minutes inside the long narrow diner, where it was a bit dark and rustic, but not unpleasant. Our server was friendly and helpful, and I ordered a burger that was excellent. While not a cheap option, the cost was certainly reasonable for the quality of the meal we received that day. It's not a fancy dinner date sort of place, but it's fantastic for a tasty and relatively expedient lunch.

Parking: Street parking is available, just depends on how crowded it is downtown

Wheelchair accessibility: Possible, but it's a bit tight, so they would likely seat you toward the front of the restaurant to avoid trying to get through the narrow walkway to the back section past the bar.“

“My husband and I are former restauranteurs from Colorado. We owned and operated three similar restaurants for 12 years. Waverly Stone has renewed our hope in dining along the Lakeshore. From the welcome to the volume of the music, choice in music, to space between tables, and service - excellent. The food!!! Mediterranean Pasta with shrimp - incredible, flavor profile, temperature, presentation, portion - 10+. Baked pasta with chicken…10+. Wine selection - not overwhelming, well curated and easily paired with multiple dishes. Beer cheese pretzel appetizer was 11+. We’d all but given up on dining in Grand Haven but will return to Waverly Stone again and again. Really well run restaurant- all the way around, the details are covered and it matters.“

“Shame the reviews are not 5/5 but clearly there’s spam in their reviews. It’s the best brewery in SW MI, GR not included. It’s an oasis in Holland. Good beer, excellent happy hour, atmosphere is authentic for a quality craft beer brewer. The staff are good, aim to please, bartenders are engaging. Food is well above average for brewery gastropub fare. Don’t hesitate to visit, even on a busy weekend. Grab a pint and mosey around.“

Despite the crowd, we got seated in about 20 min.We ordered a Mediterranean skillet bowl and twilight French toast full size. The food was amazing- the skillet was healthy, nutritious and delicious. It was so good we were still talking about it hours later. If you can only pick one place to eat in the area you’ll want to eat here. My mother had the cranberry French toast which is one the best things any of us have ever eaten. Everything was delicious.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, crayons for them to color with. “My family and I went during Tulip Festival time. Got seated within 5 minutes, outdoor patio is beautiful and pet friendly. Atmosphere inside is cool. Cocktails were awesome, food was great. I got the Black and Tan Reuben (fantastic), my wife got the fish n chips (fantastic). My kids got off the kids menu, good prices. Our waiter started out strong but then disappeared for refills. “Went here thinking it was something else. I strongly suggest you check it out. Fox and Oden rye was my favorite but they gave an amazing line up. Was there on an off time and distiller offered a tour. Felt like hanging out with old friends, one of the best tours I've ever been on. I've had the pleasure of dining here multiple times and each time, the food, service, & humble ambiance have been nothing short of spectacular. Located in a small strip mall on the north side of Holland, MI, this place is easy to overlook and totally unassuming. Don't miss out on this 'diamond in the rough!' I usually don't take the time to write a review unless my experiences has been extremely poor or very phenomenal. My regret is not knowing about this establishment until very recently and they have been here since 2017. I live less than five minutes away and simply didn't really know it existed. TOA has won me over and there's no doubt they have earned me as well as those who have discovered this restaurant as their regular customers. The reviews you will review are well deserved. This restaurant is the real deal if you are seeking authentic Thai, Vietnamese, & Lao cuisine with great service from a very wonderful, humble, and hard-working family! “We go every other Sunday evening but that ends now! this location is disgusting, it's dirty and on super bowl Sunday the floors where so slick my abled body almost became disabled from a fall and not one employee seemed to care or even bother to get a slippery floor sign. This is a direct failure in management as they are not concerned about the conditions of the restaurant. Our family of 7 will not be returning and warning everyone to stay away until new management is brought in and a very very deep cleaning is done!!!“

“Great restaurant- been coming here for decades. Their chicken rice soup is amazing- as is their onion rings! They have wonderful entrees, perch, chicken tenders, hamburgers, desserts, and seasonal desserts.

We only had a couple of minutes before it was over, and our waitress made sure we got our order in.We have been here a few times in the past and was disappointed by the cold fries. Today was not the case. EVERYTHING was great! I had the hot Nashville chicken, and she has a salad. Full portions served promptly. The manager asked us how everything was. I appreciated that. “We frequent this restaurant on Sundays with a big party of 10 or more and when the tall thin male manager is there (sorry I didn’t get his name) he is so kind and accommodating and we appreciate him so much! Not to mention the food is always hot and great! ?My absolute favorite is the Whiskey River BBQ sandwich always so tender and great!“
