“today me and my fiance got toast and jams take out for breakfast. we wanted one of those stay in your pajamas eat breakfast in bed type of days. the only thing that could have made it better is if they did delivery but I was fine picking it up because then I got to order a drink when I was there. I didn't see any drinks to order on the website but I might have just missed that completely that could be my fault but I was happy I went inside cuz I could get it to go coffee. haven't been in to toast and jams in quite some time but I was very impressed. it was super cute inside. I definitely want to go back and eat inside it was so adorable in there and a little area that they have to order drinks at off to the side is super cute. when I walked into toast and jams there was nobody at the door to greet me which was fine and that kind of looked around and was trying to figure out where to go to pick up my order. so I was walking around a little lost and the nicest server came up to me to put me in the right direction I believe she said her name was Miko. younger girl real cute had a hat on short hair shortish darker skin very pretty. anyways the server was such a joy. she stopped the work that she was doing to come up to me and point me in the right direction asked me if I needed help or needed to be set. told her I was picking up a to go order she pointed me in the right direction said she had to go check on a table but she would be back in a minute to make sure that I had everything I needed. I don't really think that was her job to be working the door I think she works the tables but I appreciate her taking her time out of her day to approach me and she was so polite and friendly I'll definitely come back in to eat and ask to sit in her section. food was amazing kitchen did a wonderful job I eat at a lot of breakfast places and this was really top notch good job kitchen. all around good experience I'll be back“

I’m so grateful this place was open late. The deal of 2 entrees and an app for $25 is a STEAL in this economy. We got the ribs and loaded mashed potatoes, fiesta lime chicken and spinach artichoke dip. Everything was delicious. I could totally see myself making the lime chicken at home for some tacos or enchiladas. So flavorful. They had the Michigan and western game on as well but it wasn’t overly loud or anything. “My wife and I enjoy take out from here many times a month. The food is great! I usually get the Mongolian Beef, but I decided to change it up, and I was very happy I did. The Szechuan Shrimp was the best take out Chinese meal I have ever had. I subbed out the rice for noodles at no extra charge, and had plenty for 2 great meals. After sitting there for roughly fifteen minutes the server stopped and took our drink and food orders. After another 15 minutes we had yet to receive our drinks, just two waters, so I flagged down another staff member who was bussing the table behind us and asked if she would be able to get us some waters because our server was busy with a big table. She brought us our waters and went to see if our food was ready when she returned she informed us that our server had never put our order in. She made sure that it was submitted and we got our food shortly afterwards. The busser displayed amazing customer service skills and was apologetic for a mistake that wasn't even her own. I don't recall our server ever actually apologizing. Ended up tipping the busser instead of our server because she actually is the one who ended up doing everything. Food was good, our waiter was bad, the busser was amazing and saved the day.“

She was very friendly and made our visit a fabulous experience. We were seated quickly, but probably due to it raining. They said they’re usually much busier. “Was very loud in there too loud for us they sat us in the bar late night. Prefer a much quieter scene but this was what was open. Food took forever to come out. It was decent once it arrived. Waitress was kind of slow refilling drinks and checking on us. Apps should have came out a lot quicker and also the entire meal. We had the ribs they were ok. The rest was apps for the most part and a steak. But if you want steak this is not the place to get it unless you like well done cook. Recommend somewhere else unless this is your only choice.“
