Whitlow's Forerunner has a unique vibe, like stepping into the past. With a rich history as a local community hub, the down-to-earth staff know their stuff. The salad bar is extensive and usually included with your dinner, and the liver and onions, biscuits and gravy, and perch dinner are must-try classics. The perch dinner is expertly prepared with excellent quality perch and just the right breading. The bar is friendly, and the restaurant is kid-friendly with plenty of options for kids. Parking is plentiful, and the building has wheelchair-accessible entrances, making it fairly easy to get to a table. Overall, Whitlow's Forerunner offers a great dining experience with consistently excellent service and a fantastic selection of food in a family-friendly atmosphere.
