“Visited for the first time and it was AMAZING. I wanted to try as many of the soups as possible so the server suggested I do a trilogy of soups. It's basically three soups to try. I tried the cheese, the gumbo, and their signature onion. All of them were amazing. Especially the French onion. For appetizer, I ordered the carpaccio, the Fried goat cheese, and the spinach and artichoke dip. They were all very good. After all these appetizers we were pretty full, but I still wanted to try an entrée. I decided to go with the wedge salad and add steak to it. The steak was done to perfection and the wedge salad was cut perfectly so it wasn't overwhelming. The server we had was quick, and very attentive. As far as the ambience and the decor, it was very cozy and reminded me a bit of European restaurants where space is tight, but you're not feeling crowded. I would consider the attire of the patrons to be a little more dressier than casual based on what everyone was wearing but definitely did not feel stuffy. I will be going back because they have several more items on the menu that I want to try.“
“I often times forget that courses exists, but I'm truly glad it does. I've been here multiple times now and the experience has been consistently good. It's inside of the culinary institute and is more or less a classroom experience but I wouldn't let that discourage you as the students do an incredible job. I'm always impressed with the service, the generous portions, and the quality of the food. It's a really great way to have some finer dining at a reasonable price. Speaking of the food the menu changes fairly regularly based on the term, so you'll want to check the latest on the site before you go. It's all over the place, but always good. My favorite thing to order here is the coffee! They bring a full French Press, a few biscotti, and some truffles out as part of it -- all for $3! Give it a try!“
“Hands down.The best breakfast place to eat in West Michigan! I highly recommend the Holland sauce eggs on a biscuit with beef. It is truly amazing and has a really nice sauce on top! The atmosphere is nice. However, this place is very busy, so make sure to get there early. If you want to get the worm! I just love everything about the place. And I can't wait to go back next time! The head cook here also is the cook at Doctor Rolf's barbecue. So they know what they are doing when it comes to cooking great food!“
“We have ordered here a few times. Its neat the variety of food they offer. We love LOVE their Chkn Fried Rice, crab Rangoons, burger, Fries and wings! Had their crawfish and snow crab, DELICIOUS and fresh. Im picky on that, and it was very good. Have had their fried catfish, also SO GOOD! Great food. Will be back again to try something else new.**in addition: we ate at King Crab last night (2-25-23) and in comparison, J Burgers crab legs snapped better not soggy, fresher taste and better quality (Mind you, JBurger was even take out crab legs/Crawdads and driving 7 miles from J Burger, and still better than King Crabs soggy mushy crab/crawfish shell, even right at their restaurant. Recommend JBurger for sure)“
“We enjoyed the Thanksgiving day buffet. The food was very good. The staff was amazing. There was a problem with our reservation and they had us at a table that wouldn't hold 4 adults. The manager (Patrick)and server (Mikayla) found us a new table and made the whole experience really enjoyable. I highly recommend coming here for any holiday buffet. The view of the golf course was great!“
“This was our first time at this location. Took the kiddos for breakfast since it was a snow day. The food was hot, fast and very yummy. The staff was professional and friendly. There was a problem in the kitchen so one of our meals came out just a couple minutes behind the rest, which was no biggie at all. The manager came out right away and apologized and offered to discount our bill for the inconvenience. It really was not a big deal, but it's customer service like that, that keeps a place running and customers returning. We'll definitely be back soon!!“
“Definitely one of Muskegon’s finest restaurants!! This is not fast food, but it is food that is fast and at a reasonable price. I always recommend to everyone! Try the buffalo fries or the best corn dogs you’ll ever have. Really good chili dogs as well. Also try the delicious milkshakes. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.“
“Been havin breakfast here since I was knee high to a grasshopper. It's my favorite place! I believe I would make special trips to Muskegon, even if I lived all the way in Alaska, just to have a country fried steak or the Southern Skillet.“
