Only open for breakfast and lunch and nearly always a line to get in. Locals love the place tucked in behind a drug store.
Food is great and you get a lot which makes the slightly higher prices easier when you have enough for a second meal later.
Still a regular spot a year later for the reasons above.“

At one point, he asked me if the young man with us was my son or my daughter’s boyfriend. When I told him he was her boyfriend, Manuel went out of his way to tell me how much he respected the way I treated him and told me I was a great dad. I’ve taken them a couple times recently and I have to say that not only is the food great, but the staff is also amazing. They always remember us and no matter how busy they are, they are always smiling and always take the time to talk to us. Such a great family restaurant in our township. 🙂“

“First time trying Detroit style pizza and we knew we wanted to try Buddy’s. We weren’t totally sure what to order, but luckily Dejuan our server was incredible! He gave us wonderful recommendations, great service , and he was just fun! We had a delicious meal and a great time. We had 2 different kinds of pizza and the famous antipasto salad and it was all so good! So much so that we are going back tomorrow for more! And the manager Rondah stopped by our table to make sure everything was great and we let her know how happy we were with our entire experience, a true testament to what a great job she is doing running everything! We also loved that this is the original location on Conant St. and has a cool mural outside and such a great ambiance inside! If you are in Detroit this is the place to be!“

We happened to be on our way to the Mae Stecker Park off of 24 Mile and I wanted to stop inside Jets for slices. The Pepperoni slices (2 slices) were delicious and fresh. “Still just a great place to hang out. We had a very big group. They easily accommodated us. Multiple checks were no issue. So different people could come and go with no issue. They have a very wide range of beverages to choose from.
