Great little coffee shop to stop by! The barista gave me a golden toad with coconut milk and by golly that was the best thing I’ve had from a coffee shop in a hot minute! I was so happy with my service and the shop is adorable with plenty of options! I would make the 6 hour drive just to come back here again.
This is a cool spot on Washington Avenue. I opted for a breakfast wrap and a black tea smoothie, with mango and raspberry. Both were awesome, as was the service. I also spotted a lemon bar. I asked how lemony it was, as I've had lemon bars where it seemed the lemon was an afterthought. My server told me it was pretty lemony, and quite popular. I took her at her word, and I'm glad I did. Favorite coffee shop in Grand Haven, before it closed and now that it's back. Excellent service, delicious coffee, a real home town spot (yet where visitors are always welcome!) It's unfortunate the previous tenants renovated the interior, but that was not the fault of Java or past or current management. I have full hope they will do as much as they can as quickly as they can to bring back the warm homey vibe. In the meantime... go buy a coffee or three from these guys to help...read full review
