“Best food I've ever had at Anna's--Cheddar Cheese Cajun Shrimp and Grits. Thought I'd been transported to San Chez Bistro, it was that good. Get it while you can--it's a special, not a regular menu item. Blew my favorite Breakfast Lasagna right out of the water.) Hubby thought his Traditionalist breakfast was the best he'd ever had, too. And service by Lauryn was stellar--knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.“
“The bartenders Mike and Dan are the best, we just moved to the area and were looking for a place to get a few drinks and received the warmest welcome. These guys run a tight ship. Service was incredible, atmosphere was great. Looking forward to spending a lot of time at this place. Cheers ?“
“We were there from Lansing to see The Hattrick band on Saturday February,3.I believe our waiter's name was Mike. He Seem to be running the whole show on his own he worked his butt off. Never had to wait for our drinks Johnny on the spot..Mike rocks,Thank you from the front table from “
“Bar food done right - and they have daily specials, like $8 for a burger and fires/tots/onion rings with a draft pint. That is a steal in an economy where most burgers are $16 and fries are extra. Food is good and the drinks are strong. Service is always super quick and friendly. They have pool tables and various games, along with live music on weekends and a comedy show on Wednesdays. There is a small lot in back for parking, or some street parking.“
“Absolutely brilliant place that we found by chance whilst exploring Grand Rapids. They are dog friendly, unlike nearly everywhere else nearby, so our greyhound laid by our table and was given a piece of bacon by the staff! The service was fantastic and attentive, including drinks suggestions. The food was delicious and we couldn't finish it all because the portions were so generous. Generally a great atmosphere, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back next time we're in GR!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in at rear entrance.“
“Visiting Grand Rapids from out of state, came for a show. We were doing some bar hopping and came in on a Friday night. Place was really busy and music was quite loud. Couldn't get to the bar to order a drink, decided we come back the following day when it was less busy. We saw they were doing poutine week and wanted to try just a straight forward poutine. It was really good. Ladies behind the bar were nice. Ordered a tall local cider on draft and was way bigger than your average tall beer in a restaurant. I'm also probably just used to over priced beer in tiny glasses having lived in both CA/CO. But yeah this was a cool spot, would come back again if we ever find ourselves in Grand Rapids again.Parking: Found parking pretty easily and neighborhood walkability is good so easy to bar hop.“
“Very relaxed no frills dive bar. Don't expect fancy cocktails or a large beer selection, but if you just want a quiet place to grab a beer and chat with folks it's a great spot. The drinks are cheap ($8 for a pitcher of Foster's) and they only take cash but there is an ATM inside. One of the oldest bars in town!“
