The strawberry bibb salad was a refreshing starter that balanced the richness of the main courses perfectly. We opted for a delicious combination of the Filet Mignon and Chicken Florentine, both of which were cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The glazed maple brussels sprouts, my favorite, were prepared so well, they added sweetness, while the garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful. The assorted bread basket was a hit among our guests, offering a variety of fresh, warm breads.

What impressed us most was the impeccable service and the seamless organization of the buffet. Despite serving hot food to a large number of guests, everything was served promptly and remained deliciously warm and filled as guests emptied them out.

“As soon as I walked into the room it I knew that's where I wanted to host my son's rehearsal dinner. The staff was very professional and great at communicating thoroughly and quickly. I enjoyed working with Madison and appreciated all of her help. It was very helpful to have her talk through all the planning process from the layout to the timeline. She was patient with all of my questions and accommodated all of our changes. She was personable and friendly and deserves a big shoutout! It was beautiful! Everyone was very complimentary of how pretty it was. I think it exceeded everyone's expectations. Compared to other spaces I looked at I thought it was reasonably priced for the size of the room and the grandeur of it.“

“We rented a Bumblebee Ice Cream Cart for our wedding instead of serving cake and it was a huge hit with our guests! The cart is so cute and a really fun and unique wedding dessert option. There were plenty of options to choose from so we had a great variety and they provided some dairy free and gluten free popsicles for guests that needed it. Amy was great to work with for coordinating everything. Delivery was easy and on time and we ended up returning the cart ourselves a few days later since we couldn't leave anything at the venue overnight which was a convenient option. Great experience!“

“Tyler Haaksma is AMAZING!!! Applause catered our wedding this past weekend and I have nothing but amazing things to say about he company, especially Tyler Haaksma's customer service. Originally Slows BBQ was set to cater our wedding, but when they closed I was tossed into a tizzy. I messaged all of the vendors my venue worked with and Tyler/Applause responded very fast, which was a continuing trend for all of our communication. Tyler and the chef made a custom menu to mimic almost exactly+more my original menu with Slows and the food was AMAZING!!!! I will definitely use applause again if I ever need catering.“
