“Just fell in love with Motherland Food. I got the Jollof rice w/chicken quarter with the spicy sauce. Very flavorful and savory BOTH with and without the spicy sauce. I also had a meat pie. Super good. Definitely more of comfort food option but so good. Highly recommend. Would love to try their other dishes next time I’m in town. The woman in front and one of the sweet women who was cooking was so nice. Thank you for such a nice experience. Wishing nothing but success and blessings with your business.“
“Had so much fun here. They had an buffet set up on the day I visited (apparently the buffet is available once a month). It had a variety of different Ethiopian dishes which were really good. They came around and served top quality coffee in these cute handleless mugs. The place was buzzing with happy Ethiopian music and the staff entertained on a small dance floor in authentic traditional attire. The dance floor was open to patrons as well. They had an area with a hookah setup. It was a lot of fun“
“This was our first time visiting and the food was amazing, as was the service. I had the Tilapia and it's possibly the best fish I have ever had! I spent a summer in Puerto Rico in college and this experience brought back some great memories. We will be back!“
“People are very friendly. Eat local! Menu is simple and awesome. A tiny expensive and a little salty, but definitely worth it, delicious. Get the goat, naan, and dessert fruit cup! (I'm a repeat customer)I'd recommend requesting multiple orders in different boxes, or they might group them together. fyi sometimes they pit the food in upside down boxes. The boxes have holes in the top so all the tasty juices will seep into the bag.I hadn't had the sweet potato banana smoothie but it sounds interesting and worth a try.“
