“This review is long overdue. We have lived in the Grand Rapids area for a number of years and stumbled upon this restaurant early in our time here. We have been back many, many times even though it is 30 min from our house. The food is genuine Thai and truly magnificent. Always superb and served well. Highly recommend!”
“Great Thai food.Accommodating & friendly staff. Can't go wrong here.*Weird comment, but best menu I've seen in terms of clarity, selection and quality.*The place could use a remodel.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu is great. No "chicken nugget" b.s.”
“Easily one of my top 5 restaurants in Grand Rapids and the surrounding area! I always get the pho with a side of chili oil to spice it up a lot with Siracusa for additional heat. Nothing needs additional spice but I love that they have the option. My wife and I love the variety of boba options and their donuts are an absolute delight! They even accommodate my wife’s peanut allergy by removing the peanuts for us on the donuts! The best part of the donuts is that they’re made fresh and as soft and warm as can be. A serious must try for those in Grand Rapids!”
“Love their sesame chicken and crab Rangoon!! Currently it is “to go” orders only. We used to live behind this restaurant and we have eaten here for years!!Parking: The exit and entrance from Lake Michigan or Wilson can be difficult depending on time of day. Very busy road near a very busy 6 (?) lane traffic light/intersection. The food is well worth whatever you need to do to get to driveway!”
“The place is so cool with bunches of interesting decorations. Food wise, hmmm 8/10 just because it's not the best compare to the dishes that I have had in Thailand before, and locally this place is pretty decent, taste is a little bit above average. I still get pick ups from here on some of my busy days but it's not an all time favorite. Well but if you are a newbies to Thai food then sure go for it!!! Not to those foodies though.”
“We love this Thai place. We’ve tried all the Thai places in town and this is our favorite. Their food is super fresh. The menu is simple and has great Thai dishes. All their ingredients are always fresh. We usually get takeout once a week. Never fails. Try the drunken noodles, and kow pad curry. Their soups are always super tasty as well! I highly recommend this restaurant.Vegetarian options: Tofu”
“I said "Make me something that tastes like Koolaid" to the server and he did not disappoint! Tea and the tapioca at the bottom was delicious!Parking: Parking is free for the first 1/2 hr. Machine exciting was broken saying i owed $18 for being there 15min but i just hit the help button and the lady opened the gate.”
“Truly the best Thai in Grand Rapids. If you’re looking for a light colored pad Thai sauce that actually tastes like pad Thai and not dark red ketchup sauce, this is IT. Closest I’ve come to Thai food from Thailand itself. And the prices are unbeatable. We order almost weekly.”
“Weary travelers, we needed a solid meal of comfort food and an oasis from the hassle of a 12-hour road trip. We found this at The Kitchen. Our waitress was a gem: quick, efficient, friendly service and great advice. Both of us agreed the smoky, tangy, bacon wrapped meat loaf and creamy mashed potatoes were the best we'd ever eaten. The portions were very generous. It came topped with 3 ginormous onion rings which unfortunately were largely inedible. The batter was heavy and they leaked copious amounts of cold grease. Since we enjoyed the rest of the meal so much, we decided to chalk the onion rings up to a defective fryer and just set them aside. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies to go were a lovely finish to the meal”
