“Unbelievably beautiful and delicious food. Service is amazing and friendly. I want to try more of the menu but I'm addicted to the barbacoa tacos. My friends all say the other food is good too but after my required minimum of two barbacoa tacos I insist on I'm usually too full to try anything else. Maybe one day. PS- try the barbacoa tacos.“
“I love this place, great food and wonderful staff who are always pleasant. I usually go with Barbacoa Burrito but everything I have ordered has been worth it. The large Quesadilla is also on point. Quick pick up window is a nice perk as well.“
“$10 taco deal gets you 3 tacos with rice and beans. Great portion and it tasted decent. Generous portion of grilled onions included. I found the beans too liquidy and their salsa bitter. If they upped their salsa game, that'd make a huge difference. Closed Sundays.“
“The lady at the counter was very sweet. She explained everything in great detail and made us feel like we were eating at a friend's house. The food was amazing. I had three different tacos (suadero, carnitas and asada) rice and beans. Everything was hot and fresh. The salsas were all very tasty. Watch out for the veggies on the counter, they are not for the weak! Lol.“
“This is a perfect example of a local gem of a restaurant. The food is amazing and at an amazing price. The workers are personable while still quickly serving up a ton of different orders at rush times. My go-to here is the taco meat burrito. I could get a gallon of their house made hot sauce and still not have it be enough. It's amazing.Taco Boy is THE stop if you want cheap, fast, and delicious comfort food with a TexMex twist.Parking: There's a decent amount of parking for the restaurant size, but it can get packed during rushes.“
“I can’t say anything bad about a place with tasty margaritas and tasty tacos. There can be a little bit of a wait sometimes, but that’s to be expected when the food is good. You can also order your food to go. They have a nice outdoor section in the summer and have heated igloos out there during the “
“Overall, this place was pretty good. I got the frozen margarita flight and those were really tasty, but pretty strong and sour. I also got the taco flight which was a little underwhelming. I think something else on the menu would have been better, so I'll be back to try a different entree item. We also got salsa, guacamole, and queso, and all were quite good. Service was pretty fast, but we were there with a larger group on a Sunday at lunch time, so I'm not sure how that is when they are busier. Overall, good food and drinks, so I'll be back at some point.“
“El Agave has become one of our favorites! We enjoyed take out once a week throughout the pandemic and now both eat in and take out. Our favorite is the Your Choice burrito which we get in chicken or beef and comes with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, sauce, rice and beans on the outside. You can order when you're already in the car and on your way and it's ready when you get there.“
“I can’t go to GR without a quick stop to Char! Seriously, if you haven’t eaten here, you should question your life choices! Original and delicious food and drink selections, not to mention BAKLAVA. Service is awesome, and food is fast and amazing. Run, don’t walk to get you some loaded won ton nachos!“
“AMAZING FOOD !!! I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START!!! OUR EXPERIANCE WITH CHEF OSCAR WAS AMAZING!! HE PERSONALLY BROUGHT OUT HIS RECOMMENDATIONS OF FOODS TO US ALL NIGHT LONG. IVE NEVER AINT SO MUCH. THE FLAVORS WOW OUTSTANDING. N THERES SO MUCH BEHIND ALL OF HIS DISHES THERES MEANING TO THEM ALL!! LOVED HEARING IT. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK EVERYTIME I GET A CHANCE. THANK U FOR THE WONDERFUL EXPERIANCE. THE WHOLE CREW WAS SO FRIENDLY. THANKS ONCE AGAIN.“
“We ordered caldo de camarón, al pastor tacos, steak tacos, and quesabirria tacos. Everything was super flavorful! Salsa’s had the perfect spicy kick. Our order was packed with extra limes, cilantro, onions, and tortillas. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for take out!“
“I love El Granjero. Living in Michigan now, this is the closest I have been able to get to my favorite Mexican restaurant where I lived in Texas. It is the only mexican restaurant I go to in GR now.Parking: There are roughly 15 available parking spots here. I have never had an issue being able to park during both lunch and dinner hours.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to the door and open tables that will accommodate wheelchairs, but there are two doors to enter that are not automated.“
“We came out for dinner and cocktails and found the restaurant to be beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was superb. There was little difficulty with language, and there was staff on hand to help with translation if needed. After dinner, we checked out the bar and lounge. This place is huge and has ample space to dance and enjoy the company of others. We will be back.Parking: Park in the lot behind the restaurant.“
“Didn’t buy much even though I wanted to- they have a cooler of a bunch of drinks, some desserts and ever so tempting salsas and the freshest guacService is great, I had the Al pastor burrito, I would have liked more veg inside to balance out the saltiness of the pork but still an amazing place- I will definitely be coming here a whole lot in the summer“
“We are from Jalisco and we loved the drowned cakes, the tomato sauce and all the accessories; If they look just a little like the originals from my land, the pozole is delicious, I won't complain, and the golden and soft taquitos of carnitas and tongue are a delight.“
“I went with a friend of mine, he suggested it, I’ve lived in Grand Rapids my entire life. I’ve eaten just about everywhere, hands down, the best authentic tacos/burritos etc in GR imo. The price is crazy crazy cheap, quick hot food. Can sit outside under shaded canopy, or small cozy inside seating. 5STARS“
“My hubby and I visit here pretty much once a month and I order takeout like once every two weeks lol! Unsure about their menu as a whole but every time I order my usual shrimp fajitas, it’s so good. Sometimes the shrimp can be overcooked and dry and other times it’s perfect. I notice the slower times I order it’s cooked perfectly and the busier times it’s overcooked. Oh well! Still delicious no matter what, nothing is truly perfect! We'll keep coming back.“
“Absolutely phenomenal food at a very reasonable price. I can see why the Al Pastor has won awards the past couple of years. No skimping on the meat inside the tacos or the grilled onion or limes to top them.Very satisfied, will be back when I'm out that way for sure.“
“Great little taco place. It's only take-out and seems to have a store connected that was closed. If this was in Mexico, this would be a street food stand. Great selection of drinks, tacos. I'm going back to try other food on the menu.“
“Cantina has been the same since I was a kid going back over 30 years. Good Tex-Mex food but not true Mexican. Fun atmosphere with great margaritas. Perfect for happy hour or a random evening meal. Never tried the drive through but that's a pretty cool feature.“
“This place was so good! We had elote dip for starters and then tacos and everything was so good! We went on a Friday evening and it was packed and a little noisy so just a heads up. But the food and margaritas were amazing! The service was quick and nice which we appreciated. Highly recommend“
“This is out regular weekend spot. Home made tortillas and very authentic. All the tacos are great hard to pick a favorite the Quesabirrias also good.. they have recently changed their name to La Favorita. Really nice family owns it, owner greeted each guest and was very nice. They have a loyal customer following and are busyThis is a definite must stop.“
“My family and I have been loyal customers for years now and this place NEVER disappoints! I always order two cheese quesadillas with a side of beans and rice and everything is fresh and hot. The service is amazing and quick and everyone never seems to hate their jobs. I love coming here for a bite to eat!“
“You can bet on 3 things in this life: Death, Taxes, and me coming here to eat at least 2x a week: Fresh food, amazing salsa, divine agua fresca, and supreme customer service. Went on my first date here in high school and I have been coming here ever since! If you're looking for a good eating experience, this should be your only option because there is simply no other alternative“
“If you love authentic Mexican food, this is a great place to try. It’s extremely small inside (and old) but the food is like you went to their home for dinner…so tasty! We tried the chipotle chicken and the taco dinner. Both were freshly prepared and very reasonably priced for the decent portion sizes. Everything was so flavorful. Chips & salsa were good too. Not many beverage choices; and it appears to be a family owned/operated business. Go try it!“
“I swear to you, I will keep ordering at this place for as long as I live. They make the best food and I mean the best authentic Mexican food! Ever since Taqueria San Jose shut down I was skeptical and scared to try any other place but last year when me and my fiancé decide to try this place out because they had Birria, we have been going constantly ever since. This place is amazing, The food is always fresh, The food has never let me down, and the team from what my fiancé has told me from doing pick ups tells me that the staff are amazing, sweet very heartfelt. if I can give this restaurant a 10 and I definitely would because they deserve it. I would’ve posted other pictures but half of the food was already in my fiancé and I stomach.“
“A guy Named Anthony Was Very Kind and Added extra meat to my bowl. " On the House He Said" The Young Man Made my day with his kindness to customers. Food Was Good But the Horchata was not the best . Would recommend eating here But not getting the Horchata.“
“I saw this food truck parked in front of Bridge Street Market not too long ago, so I decided to try it. Apparently they opened up two months ago! The owner was super sweet, and it was fun getting to converse with him for a bit. This place takes card, cash, and accepts Apple Pay (not sure about Google Pay, but can ask next time). Los Pinches GR make the Mexican staples- tacos ($2.99), tortas ($10), quesadillas ($6/$9), and burritos ($10). They also have desserts ($4.50), like conchas rellenas, and carota (Mexican lemon pie). For drinks, they have water, coke, Jarritos, and Mexican coke. I got the pastor and suadero tacos. The portions were smaller than I expected, so I would recommend getting three tacos if you want to come out feeling satiated. I really loved the suadero (brisket confit) tacos - I would recommend trying that one. The brisket was tender and juicy - I did wish they added more of it to my taco! The pastor taco was pretty good. Something that did surprise me was how juicy the limes were. I always ask for limes with my tacos at Mexican restaurants, but they usually turn out to be dry, which leaves me barely any juice to squeeze out. However, the limes Los Pinches GR gave me were really juicy! The little things that bring me joy.... If you're getting groceries at Bridge Street Market, or simply around the area, I would walk across Bridge Street and try some of their food!“
“My husband and I love Mexican food. We love traditional street style tacos and living in Wyoming, there are a TON of authentic restaurants in the area. This is BY FAR the best one. Amazing food, good pricing, and good people. We love it there and it will always be one of my top recommendations.“
“Our family has been here multiple times. Food is always fantastic, servers are attentive, atmosphere and prices are great! We have tried different dishes each time and have been extremely satisfied with everything we’ve had! I would highly recommend this place.“
“Came in on a Tuesday afternoon, to an empty with a nice family sitting at a table. A polite young man quickly took my order with a smile on his face. The kitchen and server instantly had my delicious asada tacos, with rice and beans, out to me. Great authentic restaurant with a cozy family vibe, quick. And friendly service, and delicious homemade mexican food!Kid-friendliness: Children playing quietly and respectfully.“
“Super cute location. Lots and lots of food options. It's a mix of smoothie and street food and topical foods like tacos and tortas. The owner is kind and willing to explain the foods. The smoothies are freshly made. I can't wait to come back. The hours can be spotty so either call or drive by to double check but other than that 10/10 recommend supporting this small business.“
“Came in with about 20 of us last minute but they were able to accommodate us without any problems. Service was excellent and food was even better. Everything was fresh and made perfectly, it's a great spot for great Mexican food. Large variety and selections for kids “
“I've been going there for quite a while now because their food is amazing, and the service is great!, I told all my co workers to go there on their break and they love it as well, also THEY DO CATERING!... they are going to do a catering event for my brothers wedding this summer, really looking forward towards that!“
“one of the best places that sell pork chunks, chips and tostones, the service that the staff has with the customer is respectful and they always try to satisfy the customer's needsParking: The parking lot has a capacity of 25 to 30 vehicles.Kid-friendliness: It does not have any attractions but it is a place to spend with a family of 5 or 6 members maximumWheelchair accessibility: The main door has access for this type of people“
