The beans were so flavorful and the rice had a lingering spiciness that was just right. We were tasting it hours after we finished eating. Delish! “It's a QDoba! You know what you're getting into! Very tasty, well made tex mex-americanized food made to order!
You can't have your food made a number of ways here. If you don't like americanized tex-mex this may not be for you!
But I happen to love QDoba. I like this location as well as it's always clean and easy to get to!

I also ordered a steak torta to go, and even though there was a small mix up with the order, they handled it like pros, remaking the steak torta and letting me keep both! “Ordered flautas and they were so filling, loved the salsa that they bring out to the table the only thing I noticed was that the chips didn't look homemade, they looked store bought. The chips were crisp and tasty but I look forward to a good crispy fresh tortilla chip with salsa when I go to Mexican restaurants. The salsa however was so yummy and just the right amount of spice 😋

I will say that the menu seemed smaller than I'm used to. My husband ordered tacos of different varieties and they looked good and they were well portionrd with meat and double layered with milagro tortillas.

If they have the strawberry horchata be sure to try it, you won't regret it if it tastes anything like their regular horchata. My husband liked the agua de Jamaica he had.

The only reason I gave 4 stars was because they didn't have AC and it was a hot day so with the food I was sweating eating it.“

“My first visit was today at lunch. I just happen to be driving by and I was hungry. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The restaurant was super clean. I ordered a steak tostada. They deliver it quickly and it was amazing… one of the best I’ve ever had. it was loaded with all kinds of stuff, including fresh, sliced avocado on the top. My meal came with three bottles of hot sauce that varied in flavor and heat. I tried one of the green ones and loved it. It had just the right amount of spice and it was so good I didn’t even try the others. I will be back and highly recommend.“

“My girlfriend and I spontaneously found dinner here after walking down Fulton to another restaurant. We loved the atmosphere especially with the World Cup being played on all the TVs. The tacos were top tier compared to other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in GR. The salsas provided were more comparable to a sauce. We didn’t have an issue with it but I think it would be nice to have a real salsa in a bowl for others that aren’t used to that. We had a great experience and will be back!“

“I was honestly devastated when Taqueria San Jose closed in Grand Rapids. I have spent the past several years looking for a place that could maybe be as good with no luck. A lot of good places, but none that had what TSJ had. Their nopales tacos are truly the best I have ever had, it’s my favorite style of supreme tacos, the guacamole is perfect, and the people running the restaurant are so kind! I went back for the first day they reopened on Division and it’s everything I remembered, which is tough when you’re up against nostalgia. Best Taco place in Grand Rapids hands down. Wildly excited they are back and ready to resume taking everyone I know here!“

And they seem to flow like a well oiled machine. saw some great teamwork that helped orders get made and out fast! It's always busy in there. I wait longer for food at McDonald's Donald's. Food is consistent for as long as I can remember. Maybe 30 years atleast! Taste reminds me of the old old long gone restaurant " Ole' Tacos". The taco meat has an original flavor I've searched & searched for (even in Detroit, Memphis & Orlando) and only found here! ♡♡ I stock up EVERY time I am close to them. I got the 5 tacos for $10.99 deal yesterday and I received what appeared to be the street/mini tacos? Is this the correct sized tacos for that deal? If so, it doesn't make much sense to order since the street/mini tacos are $1.50 each and I can get 5 of those for $7.50 instead of paying $10.99. Just looking for clarification here, thanks.“
