This is a place you definitely need to try out. The food was great. Their salsa exceptional, but we could have used two bowls of it with 6 people. Only the first chips and one salsa are free. Beans and rice good. The various dishes our group got were all very good. Their margarita needed more lime, but was brought over when asked. Servers were friendly and accommodating. Very nice and family run. Let’s support them Grand Rapids!

Unbelievable spot! Stopped in randomly and so happy to discover this spot!! Cannot recommend their taco dinner enough (made to order tortillas) and the margs were to die for. Must go if in down town!! Will be returning!

Los Potrillos is a New Mexican restaurant with a great atmosphere that feels like old Mexico. The food is delicious and authentic, with very hot and fresh handmade in house tortillas. Meals like chicken fajitas, chicken enchiladas, wet burrito, carne asada, and molcajete are packed with flavor. The fresh salsa and salsa verde are amazing. Great customer service includes friendly staff who provide great service and even make dishes not on the menu. Chips and salsa come when seated, and drinks and cocktails are great. Breakfast is available, and it is a favorite spot for Mexican food.
