Ordered takeout from here on a Saturday night, won't be ordering again. The egg drop soup was inedible, tasted like they boiled the eggs. Flavor was just way off on all the food. Portions were decent and service was fast but not worth it to me for the taste.
Best generic Asian food in GR/surrounding area. Crazy portions for prices that are nostalgic of 10 years ago.*Honey chicken, GT's Tofu, Noodles, and doughnuts are all great. Crab Rangoon is surprisingly filled for once. Other places make me feel like I'm eating just a fried cracker.*Remodel needed, but not important to why you'd go here.*Janine Tea (bottled) from the fridge taste like soap. Don't do it.

I love this Restaurant! The Food is delicious, this is the best place to go in Grand Rapids, MI! I have been to many other places for Chinese and I have been disappointed several times! At Hong Kong Express the food is made to order and it’s always fresh! I am a new customer and it is so very good! The prices are amazing! You gotta stop by this restaurant and get the yummy egg rolls! Excellent food and service!
