I only live a block in the condos from the restaurant I've honestly been going to this restaurant every day and the food was good, but the service was bad. One day I found a bug in my food, and the lady continually argue me down and said that I put it in my food. She just went give me my money back it was only $8.43, the point of the matter is just give me my money back and I could've went on about my day however, she just argued me over and over and said the police were coming because it was not her fault

I love this Restaurant! The Food is delicious, this is the best place to go in Grand Rapids, MI! I have been to many other places for Chinese and I have been disappointed several times! At Hong Kong Express the food is made to order and it’s always fresh! I am a new customer and it is so very good! The prices are amazing! You gotta stop by this restaurant and get the yummy egg rolls! Excellent food and service!

Best Chinese takeout in town. The honey chicken and chicken are broccoli are great and portions are plentiful. They even threw in free crab ragoons. We love Hong Kong Express!

Ordered takeout from here on a Saturday night, won't be ordering again. The egg drop soup was inedible, tasted like they boiled the eggs. Flavor was just way off on all the food. Portions were decent and service was fast but not worth it to me for the taste.

I had a weird experience with customer service after my second visit. I am a pescetarian (I'm mostly vegetarian but occasionally eat seafood). I ordered sweet & sour shrimp. I drove home and realized they gave me chicken, which I do not eat. I tried to call to resolve the issue. They kept answering the phone & hanging up without saying anything. I waited an hour or so before being able to speak to someone. Again, I do not eat chicken, so I had no reason to hold on to it. I threw it away. They acknowledged that they gave me the wrong item. I asked for either a refund or to receive the dish I ordered. Management said I needed to bring the chicken back. I explained that I had already thrown it away because I had no use for it. They instructed me to dig in the trash for the food, and that was the only way they could help me. I pointed out that it felt weird to go without a resolve over a mistake on their end.*Any food establishment that wants a person to bring back food items, much less ones that have been in the garbage, is a big red flag.*

Best generic Asian food in GR/surrounding area. Crazy portions for prices that are nostalgic of 10 years ago.*Honey chicken, GT's Tofu, Noodles, and doughnuts are all great. Crab Rangoon is surprisingly filled for once. Other places make me feel like I'm eating just a fried cracker.*Remodel needed, but not important to why you'd go here.*Janine Tea (bottled) from the fridge taste like soap. Don't do it.

1st visit. Ordered take out. Sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice was delicious, rice was flavorful. Ordered deep fried bean curd(tofu) with broccoli in brown sauce and it was perfect. Overall good food.
