8 Best Craft Breweries in Grand Rapids

“My friends and I came in with a party of 4 on a Tuesday that unexpectedly turned into a full dining room/ out door seating for the staff on the last sunny/ warm day of the year. I observed that they were understaffed for the volume of people in their dining room and packed outdoor seating. Our waiter and the only other waiter we saw for a full house did a beautiful job of bouncing between tables, being attentive to every drink, and kind throughout the rush. I 100% believe that these two waiters with a full house sustained a great atmosphere and enjoyable experience. All in all we waited 45 minutes for our food but we didn’t care, the environment this staff created was conducive of good conversations and fellowship, any other restaurant I would’ve walked out of but these employees worked their butt off and proved its truly the people that make a place great.”

“I've been coming here off and on for the last couple of years and every single time I have been greeted with open arms and the best hospitality.Nice relaxing atmosphere and fun vibes. Always strike great conversation with whomever is working or visiting. The Kombucha is top notch and the "Sound Experience" on certain Thursday's are phenomenal. Check it out!”

“This is a great local brewery. The space they have is very inviting, the staff are very friendly and their beer is fantastic! I tried their Margarita sour and my friend had the blueberry lavender lager and both were great! Highly recommend if you are in the area and like beer!”

“Arvon’s is a great place bring your own food and snacks and games and hang out all day drinking delicious beer. They have a few snacks for sale and occasionally a food truck outside. There is also a Domino’s across the street for emergency foods need. They have a great selection of beers and you can even get half pours so you could try them all! Their kettle sour beers are fantastic and almost taste like fruit smoothies, they are an absolutely must have.”

“Great pizza, awesome beer selection. The only thing that would make the pizza better, would be anchovies! Definitely a very busy place with on street parking only and in a residential neighborhood, just an FYI. We found parking but had to walk a block. The wait staff was very friendly and apologetic for the long wait due to tables who refused to leave. Let me take this opportunity to educate the general public: if you wish to continue your conversation long after you have finished eating and drinking, move along elsewhere to chat. Some folks occupied their tables 2 hours! This is not fair to the establishment or waiting patrons.”

“I've not visited but damn is their gluten free Blonde beer amazing. Picked it up at Meijer and love the flavor and experience. It's like beer when I wasn't GF except a little more expensive! But seriously, worth every penny and I am now a repeat buyer!! Go get some right now!!”
