“I've been coming here off and on for the last couple of years and every single time I have been greeted with open arms and the best hospitality. Nice relaxing atmosphere and fun vibes. Always strike great conversation with whomever is working or visiting. The Kombucha is top notch and the "Sound Experience" on certain Thursday's are phenomenal. Check it out!“

Speciation Cellars Brewery • $$
928 Wealthy St SE, Grand Rapids

“Nicest workers EVER! Was on a trip to the Grand Rapids area and stopped on a recommendation from my daughter. They were closed but they served us anyways knowing we had intentionally come there. The blueberry lavender lager was delicious as well as their sour. Thoroughly enjoyed them on the patio. Thank you Speciation for your hospitality! Will stop again next time we are in the area (during regular business hours!)“

Creston Brewery Brewery • $$
1504 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids

“We've been to the Douglas location as well and it has similar food and drink options. Limited selection of beers with mostly IPAs. The food is standard pub fare if that's what you're looking for.Service was great and food came out quickly , but after going to both locations, I would recommend other breweries first if looking to try something in the area.“

Pink Barrel Cellars Brewery • $$
3025 6 Mile Rd NW, Grand Rapids

“We wanted to try something different and made the trip out to the country. The farm is so cute. We did not eat and really just stopped in a for a drink. They had live music and that was a nice surprise. The place was packed. Very kid friendly and lots of families out on a Saturday night. The outdoor space has extra picnic style tables with umbrellas and we could hear the music from there as well. Not a huge beer selection but we found one we liked. The gift shop was small but cute. I liked the homemade jars of jams, salsa, etc. They also have a bakery and we bought some delicious donuts to bring home. Thelma and Louise were a big hit!“

The Mitten Brewing Company Brewery • $$
527 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids

“Everyone knows what a Beer Flight is, but a Pizza Flight?? Yes please, take my $$$!The beer is always outstanding here, but honestly it's the pizza flight that brings me back over and over again. The fact I can pick 6 different kinds of pizza and not have to settle for one flavor is the best thing ever.I personally think my favorite is the Coney Dog pizza. Why is this not common everywhere. Outstanding! Can't wait for my next trip to Grand Rapids.“

City Built Brewing Company Brewery • $$
820 Monroe Ave NW STE 155, Grand Rapids

“Beautiful spot near the river. The food is incredible. Some of the best wings I've had recently. Dry rubbed and seasoned after smoking then dropping in a fryer. It's my favorite way for wings. The shrimp Po'Boy was good, but nothing that made it stand out against others I have. Needed more spice or a hot sauce maybe. But the season fries were the real center piece. I'm not normally a fry guy by nature, but I've never had seasoned fries this good. Not even close. The beers were delicious. It's hard to find such great Fruited sours lightly tart and so sweet. Exceptional. Sampled a couple of others, lots of flavor in the beers we got.Only real critique is the bar/ordering set up. If we are to go to the bar and order our own food and drink, it shouldn't be at the end of the bar far from the taps. While also being near the door. I watched confused faces all day, and it really gummed up traffic at times. Curious to why this set up wasn't run at the middle of the bar like what I've seen at other breweries. More rapid response for pint pours.Stop in for a food and a drink ASAP.“

Greyline Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
1727 Alpine Ave NW, Grand Rapids

“Nice place. More known for beer than food, the menu seems like an afterthought. It was good mind you, just a bit on the boring side. Our servers were attentive. Saw all different age ranges, but the music is definitely for the heavy metal crowd. Not too loud though and it was easy to talk without having to yell. All in all a good experience.“
