“A new and better pub burger! The fries were better.

- Colby Jack Pub Burger (Double) - $9.79: Much better than the Pretzel Haus Pub Burger I had a year or so ago. I liked the A1 Pepper Mayo a lot. I thought it was a great compliment of flavor to give it that zesty and savory pub-like flavor. It was rich, but not over-the-top. The soft Everything Bun’s dried garlic and onions were great and complimented well. I think the pretzel bun would have really sold it better, but it was still great.

- Sourdough Melt (Single) - $6.39: A good melt representation. It might have benefited with a little more cheese, but it was still within the norm.

- Original Chicken Tenders (2pc Basket) - $10.09: The tenders were a bit off compared to other restaurants. I am not sure if this was a fluke. It was more like a breaded fish texture and was a harsher breading.

- Crinkle Cut Fries (comes in basket): I’ve had their fries before and they seemed to be ordinary, but this time they were extra-ordinary. They were a softer and even creamier texture on the inside and not overcooked on the outside while still being nicely crispy. I am not sure if the whole chain changed something or it was just cooked correctly this time, but it was amazing and they are on my radar for fries again.

- Service: Quick and helpful. We stopped for a fundraiser they hosted (Mon. 5-8pm). We showed up 10 minutes early and it was quiet. At within minutes, the crowd showed up and they had a huge staff prepared to take it in. It still took time, but they had a good system. I love that they do fundraisers like this!

- Atmosphere: A standard Culver’s setup with tables and chairs as well as booths. It was a touch warmer with wood tones than others.

- Conclusion: Culver’s is one of my favorite burger chains and this one has always been my favorite (20 years and counting now)

“I gave this particular McDonald's 5-stars just because of the cleanliness and service. It is still a McDonald's so the food and atmosphere are relatively the same as everywhere. One of the better McDonald's experience I have had.“

“Very good, except the chili, very small pieces of meat. I mentioned the lack of meat to the employee who took my order. She said we aren't responsible for the chili, it comes that way. Other Wendy's they put big chopped up pieces of burger in in.“

“Just ate there with my husband, daughter, and grandson. We had heard they had good food. Boy were the reviews right. We had a chili dog, corn dog, smash burgers, and regular fries, and chili fries between all of us. It was great food. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and having a good time. Great experience. Will definitely be going back there.“

“Vintage in the Zoo is an institution, definitely a jewel in our fair city. They have all the usual assorted vintage items to peruse, killer DJs, a record vendor cuz duh. Whether you’re in the market for a gently used Harley t shirt, a crochet vest, or art inspired by mushrooms this is the spot! Also the DJs are nice with it too!“

“food is usually very good but the last time i had shrimp dinner and the shrimp were fried too long, almost burnt, and a week ago had fish dinner and same thing fish were fried too long. Just need to reduce the frying time for those two items“

“Best beer in a market that is absolutely saturated. Their creations just flat out taste better than anything else. From a light drinking lager to a stout that you can only have 1 of LOL. Chill atmosphere with a friendly staff that is efficient without being overpowering. Food is excellent with a simple burger and fries that I’d put up against anyone else’s.“

“Drove over 2 hours to try Freddy’s Steakburgers - my son had been there before. Gotta say it was worth the drive, the burgers were fabulous (and the fries & custard didn’t disappoint) plus a great road trip with my kids. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean.“

“We are here today for lunch. We are in town for States for Hockey and staying next door. By far the best restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. Fast, very friendly service. We got the salad/pizza bar and my son wanted a specific pizza and the made it right away fresh and hot and came to our table to tell us when it was ready so he could go get some. He’s picky and sometimes hard to please with food and no restaurant has ever been this kind an amazing to him. We have been places that won’t even bring refills in seven time. This restaurant was on top of everything! It was a great experience and we will definitely be back as we frequent Grand Rapids with 3 kids in hockey.“

Service: Fine. But the one guy with his eyes half closed who kinda yells once messed up our order, and forgot to screw the lid on the shakes.

“What a nice find. A fun neighborhood bar with good food and a great bartender! I ended up having the Lenten fish sandwich special which was catfish. I was worried it would be one of those awful patties out of a box but it was not - and it was delicious! I would have it again in a heartbeat. My bartender was Jeremy - what a great customer service oriented guy. I was really impressed, and it was a busy night. I will be back.“

- Cheese Burger - $8: The burger patty was medium well and decent. The toppings (lettuce, onion, and tomato) were extremely fresh and crisp. The mayo was extremely light and there was no ketchup. They did not have many of the typical burger sauces available in the dining area so I skipped adding more rather than asking at the counter. The bun was huge comparatively, soft but dense, and overall great.

- Fried Chicken Sandwich - $9: A breaded and fried chicken piece in a hoagie bun with fresh lettuce, onion, tomato, and mayo. Delicious and large.

Their menu is quite extensive and unique. They have basic American food including burgers, phillies, fries, onion rings, chicken nuggets and wings, fish, and salad. They also have some unique items as well including gyros, egg rolls, crab rangoon, okra, crab, shrimp, mussels, crawfish, clams, lobster tail, and more.

- Service: Got the order right and was helpful. Mainly to the point. You order at the counter and pick it up at the counter when called.

- Atmosphere: There are about four tables with four chairs each. There is a self-serve soda dispenser (water available), a few basic condiments (no mayo), and a restroom. It was kept clean and updated.

- Conclusion: Good value and a basic restaurant atmosphere.

“We were staying at the Holiday Inn Downtown and had just arrived. Both of us were very hungry and saw the hotel has an attached resturant. Not wanting to go much longer with out food we came down here after settling into our room for a bite.

Since neither of us eat red meat the offerings were limited, being a burger joint, but we still found items to our liking. We both went with a big salad and some fried pickles. Which were equally great. I don't remember our server but they were great.

All in all I would recommend.“

You need you order online, and seems like you can’t pick up from this location, you need to do delivery but delivery was pretty quick and burgers were AMAZING!! I ordered the beast burger, kids got the chandler. (The beast was way better) fries were okay, burgers are huge!!“

“Our group has been coming once a month for years. After the new owners took over, service was pretty sketchy for a while, but it has been improving. This morning, however, we had Kayla as our server, and she was OUTSTANDING! She put coffee pots on the table, so we didn't have to wait for refills, her memory for orders was really good, and she doesn't waste steps. She's a keeper!“

“This is now my favorite Burger King. They got the food out to me so quick, By the time I got my drink, my food was ready. The table I was sitting at was very clean. “Simple, local breakfast joint with some lunch items. If you want a good all around hearty breakfast with no frills, this is a great option. Prices are very reasonable for the portions.
Can be busy during peak hours, but food is always fast and hot. Many locations around West Michigan. Bathrooms are usually clean. Parking can be tricky depending on the location.“

“Crown chicken and fish is some of the best fried food ive had in a long time. Halal market too. Since I've come to Michigan, good food has been hard to find compared to my home. Amazing batter and good service, they get the job done and you can tell it's hard work that made this place.“

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
