“The team here is incredible—friendly, hardworking, and doing their absolute best in a busy environment. However, management is failing them. I received a hard, stale biscuit twice in a row. It is 2026, and we all know how difficult it is to find and keep a great service team; management should be supporting these workers by ensuring quality control. Instead, the staff is left to deal with the fallout of systematic failures. To the workers: thank you for your hustle. To management: do better.“

“We went to the location on Plainfield this evening for dinner. We were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. Everyone seemed very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Chris the manager took our order, and let me tell you that he’s a wonderful person. I had a few questions as it has been a while since we’ve been to Freddy’s. Chris was very friendly and answered my questions w/out me feeling like I was bothering. The food was hot, the onion rings were awesome. I can’t recommend this location enough. I ordered ice cream to take home to the grandkids, the manager included a few toppings for them. I appreciate you so much! Awesome manager.. awesome customer service.. great food. Stop on in if you’re in the area!“

Had the Chicken & Shrimp dish, chix was great, shrimp rubbery and too few, three mushrooms in the mushroom onion saute? Blondi dessert rubbery & not edible, although I enjoyed ice cream & sauce. Julian discounted dessert without being requested. I understood Applebee:s food is MSG free, something server did not know. And, the selection of wines included Cupcake & Barefoot brands, both of which have MSG!

“We didn’t check what time they closed so we were kind of jerks and showed up half hour before closing. Even still the staff was all wonderful. It was our first time here so we took a minute ordering, but she was still sweet waiting patiently. When we got the food it was all excellent. They even took my mom’s/grandmas burger back to cut it in half because they always share one. I will definitely be returning hopefully while they still have the Krispy krab burger.“

“If you know me you know I rarely go out to eat. I don’t even have a microwave and I don’t eat anything in packages. So I eat very healthy for around 19 years now. I enjoy this place so much I’ve been there twice in a week, and purchased 22 meals from their weekly package meals. And I am so impressed with the quality and how tasty the meals are I’m adding their meals to my weekly grocery list. Thank you so much for a healthy quality choice to our town. “We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business! “The one thing about their service or any quick restaurant service nowadays is a drive-through get served and you're standing there waiting even though you know you're the only person that's a counter You're you don't get your food for like 10 minutes or whatever why the other line the food line or the outside line is this going and going and going I'm just not happy with that“

“As I sit in the spotless well designed dining area and watch the staff I am very impressed! The cashier was adorable, efficient and polite. There is an employee wash the windows doors and metal trim like she owns them and they are spotless! The food is fresh and delicious and the condiment station is clean and filled. It is never very busy here. However there is a McDonalds next door that has a constant stream of people. But the food is subpar, the interior is always a mess and dirty. I don’t get it! My advice is skip MD’s and come on in and have a good meal in a very pleasant environment!“

“I stopped here on the way to the airport for a quick bite. The breakfast sandwich was really good. The dining room is similar to that of the old coffee shops. The service was good and fast. The prices were awesome, we ate for around $16 for 2 people, including tip. I would recommend to family and friends.“

“Came here for lunch on a Tuesday after my daughter's appointment. Was greeted by Pettra and she took our order. She helped me save a bit of $ by doing the 2 for $6 they have right now and also noticed my daughter didn't get a drink with her food so she did not hesitate to get us a cup for water (my daughter loves water so it was awesome!) awesome customer service there! “I was at the McDonalds on Northland Dr. My toddler only enjoys a bun with cheese and apple slices. So I’ll take him every once in a while to get just that. Whoever made his “cheeseburger” today was so kind and made a grilled cheese of sorts! I want to thank whoever did that! You didn’t have to but still did. “Excellent food, great atmosphere as the dinning area's almost always practically a ghost town which is kinda eerie since this is Grand Rapids (thanks Covid), but I really enjoy eating here when I'm able to stop in. The staff here are really friendly too. Ocasionally your order might get messed up, but bring it back and they'll move heaven & earth to make it right. Definitely my go-to when I want quick yet great food. Also, try one their Frosty's!!“
