Showed up prior to 7:00 Pm. Table of 6. Was told it would be about 30 minutes. At 7:40 asked for an update - “oh, I’m sorry we won’t be able to seat you tonight.” Have to say I’ve never been on this end of such an incredible lack of communication in a dining experience. Totally get that it was busy but it shouldn’t be hard to let customers know in a timely fashion so they can find alternative options.
