Son of baconater was delicious

Baked potato didn’t have sour cream and was so old that it was brown inside. The single was cold and tasted horrible. What made it worse I got hung up on. Their website only lets you complain with receipt or store number but never got receipt.

Every time I went through the drive thru they would get my order wrong, so I decided to go in, and they still got it wrong and overcharged me. They are rude and rather push you out than smile to help you.

Wendy’s on west river does not honor the breakfast schedule. They seem to change over to lunch when they feel like it not when they’re supposed to.

Always super fast, and correct!

Usually have good service. Tonight was slow and my order was incorrect. I used the app and double checked. The order was wrong and was not edible as given.

Terrible Experience - Incompetent Staff and Horrible Food

Im honestly in shock to find this place has four star reviews - this Wendy's was so abysmal that I feel more than compelled to warn others before they too, experience the terrible food and service I experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear the staff had no idea what they were doing. It was like watching a group of people who had never worked in food service before – completely incompetent and unable to get even the most basic orders right.

The food I was served was appalling. It was clear that the meal had been sitting around for hours, and when I finally got my order, it was cold, stale, and just overall disgusting. Not only did they fail to make my order fresh, but they also didn’t seem to care at all about the quality of the food they were serving. I honestly can’t believe they’re still in business with this kind of service. I was given processed kids chicken sandwiches, cold and extremely old and processed, when I paid for regular chicken sandwiches. I feel totally Ripped-off! Fries had been sitting around all night, cold and soggy. NEVER AGAIN! I have given Wendy's too many chances to improve their game and come to find it ONLY keeps getting worse, at most location in and around Grand Rapids, with this location winning first place for being the worst of all!

It’s honestly baffling how a place like this can stay open with such poor food and service. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Save your money or donate it to a cause worth supporting, because eating here will only disappoint you. Don't waste your time or risk your health with food and service this terrible. I can't even take it personally because I'm sure most customers experience the same awful treatment and low-quality food.

If I could give this location zero stars, I would.

I ordered the chicken bacon ranch meal and half the bun on the bottom was soggy. I ate it without the bread. My fries medium and the chicken was the only thing hot.

I started coming to this Wendy's location on the way home from evening classes for the last year, and I can tell you the service has gone drastically downhill in the last month or so. Original experience: The employees always acknowledged me, got my order right, and were very friendly. They always told me if they were out of something and offered alternatives. They seemed to have a good vibe with each other, occasionally joking and smiling at each other... Current experience: I don't know what happened, but most or all of that crew are now gone, and have been replaced with employees who frequently screw up and often fail to even acknowledge the customer. The first time I noticed the change was when there had been a power outage that affected spotty areas. Several people were lined up in the drive through, and no acknowledgement. After over 10 minutes I started addressing the speaker with no acknowledgement. I finally pulled up to the window to see several employees inside... And was told their power was out. No signs to indicate that they were closed due to power outage, and no one designated to send people away. In the last month, they have screwed up my order at least 4 times in 6 weeks. Ordered a ghost pepper sandwich, no bun. (They've done it before.) He thought I said "no sauce". I said "I want the sauce. I don't want the bread.. This went back and forth a few times... He said, "Okay," Still gave me the the bun. Ordered a ghost pepper sandwich again, the fried chicken wasn't crispy or very warm, and the crispy onions were soggy, like they'd given me a sandwich that had been sitting for over an hour. Ordered the ghost pepper sandwich again. Receipt said ghost pepper sandwich. Did they give me a ghost pepper sandwich? Nope. Asiago Chicken sandwich (I hate that forgettable meh sandwich). Ordered a cobb salad today... Realized after I got home that they had forgotten to add the chicken. Also, they almost gave me someone else's order. I had to tell them that's not mine and tell them what I ordered. Adding on one teen and training them makes sense, but I swear they fired a bunch of competent adults all at once, who did their work well, and replaced them with incapable teenagers who need a lot of supervision and training before they can be relied upon to deliver a good experience to the customers. I'll be going to McDonald's or another Wendy's from now on. I'm sick of needing to inspect my bag and taste my food, before I leave to find out if they actually got it right.

We asked for doubles, were charged for doubles and received singles. We asked for medium Frostys, were charged for medium and received small. Of course they failed to give us a receipt so they refused to refund or fix the problem. This is the perfect example on how to lose customers.
