Honestly this is a diamond in the rough right here a genuine Irish pub with simple but ample food and of course Guinness on tap from well maintained taps clean friendly environment and reasonable prices
Stopped in on one of my Bikepacking trips for a burger and I don't think I'll be able to skip town anymore. I'm always looking for good food stop when I'm traveling and if you're lucky enough to be on route I'll stop. I've came across some junk and then there's gold in the corn fields. The best food comes from the small towns I've come to the conclusion.
I remember when I was too young to go to school that I went to the Conklin Bar, although it was called Bob's Tavern I believe. I would go with my great Uncle Rob to get feed ground for our cattle across the street at (Sam) Dykstra's elevator. As we waited we would go to the bar.
