I admit I never bothered to visit Del Taco when it was new in our neighborhood. But today I was pleasantly impressed with this place. The decor was good. I enjoyed the different colored walls. We ordered taco salads a burrito and some fries. The salad was amazing! The beef in it was slightly spicy, the guacamole flavorful as it is made fresh daily and the presentation was pleasing to the eye. The crinkle fries were just the right amount of done. First time to Del Taco, food was good, took them a while to make my food, but otherwise a good experience! Restaurant was clean and staff were polite, not overly friendly, but not rude like you see at a lot of fast food places. Overall a good experience.

I love the chicken soft tacos here, something about the sauce they put on them. They use entirely too much cheese on their tacos. Granted, the cheese is shredded there daily, but it's too much. And I love cheese.
