The food was great and fresh and everyone working at Mr. Chicken is friendly. When I come home for a visit to Detroit , I have to go and get some chicken. And take some back to South Carolina.
Many places serve delicious chicken, but few get it right like Mr. Chicken. I've been dining here for years and the food is consistently delicious. Whether you get the breast/wing dinner with potato wedges, or the three-breast dinner with fries, you won't be disappointed. The food was all right but needs to wash chicken better. You can taste the not so clean after taste and the coleslaw taste dirty and mushy. But the skin on the chicken was very good and crispy. Price a little on the expensive side. Dining area needs updated all the way through. But still clean and quiet.
