Ju Ju is THE BEST!!! She always remembers us AND what we like to order. She checks on us to make sure we have everything we need. She is so sweet. The food is DIVINE at Al Ameer. It’s always so fresh. We love to come as a family because there is something for everyone. We have red meat lovers, chicken only eaters, a vegetarian, and one that must follow a heart smart diet. Al Ameer is PERFECT for all!!!

Tried Al Ameer based on a friend’s recommendation—it’s definitely one of the more well-known names in Dearborn, so I had decent expectations going in. Overall, the food was good and satisfying, and the experience was smooth from start to finish.
It’s clear they’ve built a reputation over the years, and I can see why people keep coming back. That said, for me personally, it didn’t quite rise above the crowd in a city full of amazing Middle Eastern spots. The quality was solid, portions were fair, and the service was friendly, but nothing really wowed me.
Still, it’s a respectable 4-star experience—reliable and worth a visit, just not the most memorable meal I’ve had in Dearborn.

I had lunch yesterday 7/1/25 with Mary waiting on me. All around good meal and service. I had a nice salad with chicken and warm fresh bread. It's been awhile since my last meal here but I shall return!

This was my first time visiting. Our server was Mary. A pleasant server that made you feel like she was your mom feeding you! Great experience. The food was delicious. The service was quick and with a warm smile. Prices were reasonable. Overall, a great experience!! Will be back!!

First time visiting Detroit and my first stop was here. I was a bit concerned if the quality would be as good given all the hype but the food was amazing. The meat kofta was so juicy and the toum was garlicky heaven. The meal was amazing not only cause of the food but also because of our amazing server, Mary. She was so incredibly sweet and made sure that we had everything we needed. Offered us a refill of hot bread when our entrees came and wasn’t stingy at all with the toum. Thank you Mary for making my birthday meal and first time in Detroit so amazing!

I had an incredible dining experience at Al ameer ]! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The highlight of our evening was Juju, our server, who provided top-notch service with a smile. Juju was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made fantastic recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was delicious, with every dish cooked to perfection, and the presentation was beautiful. We felt well taken care of throughout the meal, thanks to Juju's excellent hospitality. I can't wait to come back! Highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience.
