Very disappointing, i was really looking forward to this place after all their online hype and recommendations. Food was very mediocre and they were out of many things. If you are coming to Dearborn for good Arabic food, this is not it!

They could done better, for some reason people came after us get waited on before us. And a bout half an hour of waiting we requested service. We are dispointed.

we got to the restaurant they placed us at a booth and waited 30 minutes just so they can ask what we wanted to order. the people that came after us by 10 minutes already got therir food and they didn’t even take our order. so we called them over so they can take our order. after we ordered she then asked what we wanted to drink. and never got our drinks till we finished eating.

I can not emphasize how disappointed our experience was. The first server took our order and never came back, had another server bring our salads and then a third server brought the food, which was not what we originally ordered. The meat shawarma was not fully cooked, they grilled chicken covered in cold garlic sauce. We ordered mix shawarma and only got meat shawarma, we ordered lamb sautéed and got lamb stir fried. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.

Food was good! Prices seem to have increased but what else is new. Unfortunately, what used to cost me $20, costs $30 now. The fattoush is perfect though and the grape leaves taste handmade or close-to so definitely good quality.

We visited Al Almeer in August with some family members and to be honest, they did NOT want to serve us, one of our family members was wearing a tank top and showing her skin lots of it.. wearing a tank top and shorts, well the waiter DID NOT want to serve her or her husband and when we arrived he barley served us. The service was Awful.... We are in America NOT some other country and this server made us feel HORRIBLE.... we felt like we were NOT wanted because we were not from his country. He didn't even want to fill our water, bring us Garlic or bring my uncle his meal he had to goto the kitchen and ask for his food.... The waiter LIED to us about being out of condiments BUT when another table came in he was all over them and provided them with condiments that he told us they were out of.... So I sent an email to the manager who of course apologized and told me he would take care of another visit.... So fast forward to Jan, I emailed him asking if the offer was still good.... NO RESPONSE..... DO NOT EAT HERE goto any other restaurant

Phenomenal. Delicious. Tasty! We enjoyed this meal thoroughly. The service was fast and the vibes were great. Everyone was enjoying and I cannot recommend Al-Ameer enough. This place has been around for many years and is always a reliable and delicious choice. I can't wait to go back!

We had drove here from Cleveland just to eat. They had very nice staff and we had a good time. The down side was that the crack in the booth was filled with old food and pieces of sweets. They did not give us water until after we asked which was near the end of dinner. And also, me being a vegetarian, we did not have many options that we could enjoy. I don't recommend this place to vegetarians. But if there were vegetarian costumers I would recommend to try the tabluli salad. Overall the experience was satisfying but not worth the long drive.Vegetarian options: Not a lot of options.Parking: You can always park on the weekdays without hassle. But on weekends it could get busy and you may need to park on the lot across the street. Br careful because the street is really busy and not a safe place for kids to go without an adult.

Normally this place was five stars, but hey, I paid a lot of money for a half dozen grape leaves. do you see they are thin as my fingernails. No rice and no stuffing inside of them just plain grape leaves. Nothing, literally nothing inside of the leaves. They were just wrapped like a tobacco leaf. Also, I ordered the falafel it's soggy and did not come with tahini Update, I spoke with the manager and he was more than accommodating with the situation and I've upgraded to three stars. I will go back in for another visit and if it meets the old standards, I will readjust again.

I came here on recommendation of my friend and he raves about the stuffed lamb! I took a detour on my travels just to try the restaurant and the server Mary was so kind and gave great service. Good prices for how huge the portion sizes are!
