This place his the nail on the head every time, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. Even though I'm not Yemeni and have never been to Yemen, I feel a stamp of authenticity on every dish they serve. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Every time I go here, I find myself liking it more and more. This is a truly special restaurant, one of my favorites in the metro Detroit area. I highly recommend Aldaar to anyone seeking a truly exceptional experience.

Very disappointing experience. I invited friends for breakfast on October 5, 2025, and the service was extremely poor. Only one staff member was trying his best, but management was clearly lacking. Long wait times, limited items — they even ran out of Adani tea for our group of five and gave us only two . No warm water available for a child. Overall, not worth the visit especially for a breakfast. I’d recommend choosing another place.

The chicken was very bland a dash of sauce covering the top no marinade no good flavor. Bland rice, small salad portion salad was not that fresh. Freshest thing served were the sauces... Abundance of flies.... Not given silverware plastic ware which melted The taste of plastic into my food giving me Micro plastic poison.. did not care for the meal at all! Cashier was the best person in terms of service, which was not very attentive did not feel welcomed at all.
I ordered a small loaf of bread, salth and two mandi lam. The bill came to 105.79. I was surprised by the unreasonable price

When ever i come from new york i always come here i alway get there fish there fish is tasty crunch and juicy also well seasoned and it always comes with rice There food is clean the place is clean customer service is good but it could be a bit better also they give free tea after every meal love this place i dont know how people leave a 1 star review would recommend
