Ordered takeout catfish dinner #22 as well as other meals for my family of 6. The fish was inedible: soggy, fishy tasting and had a weird texture. There were only a few mushrooms and tons of carrot strips, perhaps to camouflage the GROSS flavor of the fish. When I called to complain, the manager was less than cooperative, offering a refund only if I returned the dish to them. (A 20 minute drive!) Otherwise, 15% off one item in the future. Wow! Needless to say, we will never order from them again.

I live an hour and a half away from Bangkok 96. I drove down river today to come to my favorite restaurant with my mom on my birthday. I can't believe how disappointed I was today. The girl that took our orders at the register was too busy texting to give an extra 5 minutes to my mother that's 80 years old. And ended up getting the wrong thing that my mom was talking about and when my mom asked her about it she didn't seem to care and told my mom that's what she said. Then it was so ridiculously hot in there we couldn't even stay and eat our food because we were both sweating immensely. This is the absolute worst time I've ever come to Bangkok 96. I brag and tell everyone about this restaurant because it's amazing and I think everybody should try it. But after today I just don't know. The food was still good but by no means as good as it normally is. I know everyone has off days but I don't know what's going on. Because I've never experienced anything like this ever at this restaurant.

The service was good. You purchase your food at the register and they bring your food to your table. The cashier was nice. The food was not good. It had puddle of oil sitting on top of my food and the rice was mushy. There was also a weird aftertaste. I ate a little bit of my food and threw the rest away
Food was amazing. Ordered the Pad pak (spicy) the portions were big. My husband had “3friends” spicy. We had many leftovers. Cooked perfectly with the right amount of spicy.

Stopped in to grab dinner. The service was friendly and had my order ready. Got home, and the Tiger Tear was grilled some that all you tasted was smoke. Luckily the Bangkok 96 fried rice and spring were the meal savers.
