This is not the benihanna I grew up in. We were served sauce from plastic to go souffle cups that tasted old. The rice was hard. The server did not tell anybody at the table that there was an upcharge for Fried Rice made. It seem like it was an option. And then after you said, yeah, Fried Rice, she said chicken or sake. Once, again adding, another upcharge without saying there would be a upcharge for chicken or steak like, those were the only 2 options we asked for tea she. Said it was not time for tea. We asked for lemon with our water. She never brought out any lemon. The presentation of the meal was absolutely horrific. Nothing like the pictures on the TVS for the advertisements. When you walk in, we tried to get a manager's attention. He literally ran from the room, never to come back. We had to find another female manager aint got her attention. So we were just able to leave the restaurant. This is definitely not a 5 star restaurant. The way that it used to be, it's so sad.It's gone downhill

Our hibachi chef was absolutely wonderful and the highlight of our experience. Unfortunately, our waitress was the complete opposite. She seemed very out of it and it honestly made us wonder if she might have been on something. Service was extremely slow, and several things were wrong when they finally arrived. Our salads came with the wrong dressing, my friend never received her white rice, and the hibachi chef actually had to ask another staff member to get it for us.
We also had reservations but still had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated.
On top of that, the prices felt very high for what we received. Fried rice wasn’t included with the meal and cost an additional $7.50. The portion sizes were also quite small, including the appetizer. Overall, it just didn’t feel worth the price we paid

It’s definitely a spot I recommend to anyone looking for a fun and satisfying place to enjoy a meal together.
What really makes it stand out is the entertainment during the meal. The chef kept everyone laughing and engaged while preparing the food, adding plenty of energy to the table. He greeted us in Japanese and even bowed before starting, which added a nice authentic touch to the experience. The performance, humor, and interaction made dinner feel like part show and part meal, making it a truly fun family outing.

Tatiana and our chef was amazing. Whomever the hostess was yesterday with the black and white top on. Please tell her not to correct people when THEY TELL HER HOW TO PRONOUNCE THEIR NAME it’s rude and offensive

Had dinner tonight here for my daughter’s birthday. The service was so slow. Had to ask multiple times for refills and it was not busy . The chef was dry and not entertaining at all. Not to mention there was hair in my food. When I said something they said they were gonna do something about it with our bill, nothing was done and after waiting so long for our bill we just paid and left . Very disappointed

I have never witness such rudeness from a business nor its staff. I came in for lunch at 11:00am expecting to have lunch. But was told we are not serving lunch because it's Valentine week so we are only serving dinner and at dinner prices. I stated it's 11:00am and we can not have lunch. They said no only dinner. Other customers were in the building and left from hearing this.
The manager and its staff was in the front seating on there phone and witness this conversation. A staff member a male with braids, gray shirt and black pants said are you not understanding this. I left the building and will never be back. This restaurant always has problems. Either gun shootings in or out or fights. Will never be back HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!
Salty and I paid for 2 portions only got one! They have fallen off bad. You’re better off going to Hibachi GO! Don’t waste your time or money!

Food wasn't that good, honestly they need better chefs, customer service sucked as well, they couldn't sit our table down because 2 people were not there, then when we did sit, we didn't get to place our our til almost a hour later. Honestly the food just didn't taste like hibachi

We dined at Benihana Dearborn this evening, where we were seated at the bar and attended to by Brittney. Our initial order consisted of fried rice with shrimp, steak, and hibachi vegetables. However, upon receiving our plates, we were disappointed to find that the steak was significantly overcooked, and the shrimp were also overcooked and lacked presentation we were also waiting on the vegetables. Brittney promptly addressed the issue, replacing the steak with chicken, which was expertly prepared and presented by herself. Her exceptional service and attentiveness made our experience outstanding. We also appreciated Devin's warm demeanor and good customer service skills. Brittney's exemplary service warrants recognition, also her culinary expertise shoud be studied. I would return to the establishment solely based on her performance alone. These five stars reflect the service received from her & Devin.

We had a Reservation and still had to wait over an hour for the server, the table was not completely clean. The chef was awesome and the waiter. It was my pregnant daughters birthday and they were short staff leaving us at the table and the manager offered nothing but an apology, not even a short drink.
The food was excellent and the cooker was very nice and entertaining.
