Black Box Coffee Shop and Art

Finally tried Black Box in Dearborn ☕️ I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews so I had to see for myself. It’s a grab-and-go spot — I heard the matcha was good, but sadly it wasn’t for me 😕

This is a really lovely shop. I've visited a few times, and it's always been a good experience. I think that the art installation they have displayed right now is really powerful.

Excellent espresso drinks... iced latte was made to perfection, and my husband enjoyed his cappuccino. Highly recommended!

Worst coffee shop in Dearborn got a matcha and it literally tasted like milk and vanilla the girls were all rude I told her please make it more matcha so rude never coming here again. Don’t take back drinks to make it better gave me a side of matcha to make it better horrible place and service.

Ordered a matcha latte there was no matcha in it only oat milk and syrup

My favorite coffee shop in Dearborn with the friendliest and most welcoming staff. Always quick even when they’re busy, and the best part the coffee is always hits. Would definitely recommend this spot any day!

please take the matcha off your menu because this is just sad. this was like $7 too.

Really cute place. Really good coffee. Only negative: no tables and chairs to sit at inside. There were a couple of benches. This did not stop me for going back there the next day☺️

Any matcha lover knows that this is NOT a good color for matcha. All I taste is milk and syrup. Not a hint of matcha. When I told the barista it was too sweet she said nothing we can do about it you have to pay for a new one but how was I supposed to know it would turn out horrible. I’ve been here a bunch of times it’s never tasted nor looked as horrible as today so obviously it isn’t consistent. If your matcha isn’t consistent i’d think the fairest thing you can do when you get a complaint is to fix it lol.

I've had one of the best Lattes. Excellent flavour and taste. Not too sweet like some others and clear coffee taste.
The place is nice, but not very obvious to notice when driving or walking around, and unfortunately, no drive through to be able to get coffee quick, and they close at 6pm.

Absolutely the best lattee around the area. Espresso is real smooth.

Ordered a latte and to my error didn’t actually sip it until leaving. it was awful like there was something wrong with the steamed milk. I tried contacting them a few times but never heard back.
