Captain jays Fish and Chicken

Ain’t even eat here, but they reviews looked terrible.

I went to captain Jay's in Eastpointe MI and the food was old and the manager hung up on me while I was telling him the chicken wings tasted old so I went up there and the lady took my food back and handed it to the manager and he took it back cross contamination cause it should have been thrown in the garbage and a fresh order should have been made It look like all he did was refried what I brought back

Received under cooked shrimp and called the resturant to speak with manager who said to bring the food in. The manager upon arrival said that the 20.00 I spent could not be refunded. Then went on further to say that the 20.00 could not be substituted for something else dollar for dollar. Not only did I drive back there but to hold my money hostage. Horrible experience. It's not my fault I didn't cook the food. Unacceptable...someone needs to fix this 501 Wayne Rd.

Delicious food and friendly staff!!!!

The worst service ever at the Taylor location at 10257 S. Telegraph in Taylor. Chicken looked and tasted like it was left over from the day before and then microwaved. The cashier took my money and walked off without a explanation for about 10 minutes. Then returned with my change. They need to close the place PERIOD. It was my first and LAST visit.

I higly enjoyed looking at this building as I drove by.

I received terrible customer service at the Evergreen location. A 15 minute order took 1 hour. I was told I didn't place the order, then it was found, I was told that I didn't order what was clearly written on the slip. Then I was told that as an Old person I needed to set an example for the young people. Not asking for him to be fired just properly trained. You have lost a loyal customer

Went to this restaurant on W 7 Mile and John C Lodge Freeway to get something to eat. When I walked into the inside door I slipped and had a very hard fall. No one from behind the counter came out to see if I was okay. They didn’t even get the manager. I had to ask for the manager after being helped up off the floor by two male customers. My son had to come and get me because I couldn’t drive and the pain was horrible. Asked to do an injury report after the manager (Dewayne Wingham) came out and my son arrived. This man stated that he did not have injury reports. I will have to contact corporate office to let them know what happened. He also said that he will contact him and give him my information and I asked him was he going to really do that and he said yes. I’m still trying to find out how to reach the corporate office. The chicken is goodwill . The professionalism of the employees was unacceptable. This was a very traumatic experience and Captain Jays is not a place that is inviting or welcoming, let alone noticeably uncaring and unprofessional to their customers. May God have Mercy on their souls.

Multiple items were missing from my order. Staff was unprofessional. Waited for 15 min to get our order and when I went back to get missing items 2 of the workers were leaned on the counter on there phones while there was people lined up in the drive thru. Macaroni and cheese was pulled from a chill fridge and mashed potatoes were flavorless. Very disappointed. That was my first and last visit.

I'm not usually one to complain about food service because I know how it is. I usually love this place so much. One of my favorite places to go. But Captain jays fish & chicken you are a disappointment. I ordered 2 combos. Mac and cheese, and a strawberry crunch cake. I didn't receive fries with 1 combo. I got cheesecake instead, which I can't even eat because I'm lactose intolerant. Mac and cheese was half full and cold out of the fridge. We called and complained but they basically said oh well. Not buying from yall again smh. what other restaurant serves cold food? misses half of the items. then says oh well? Terrible.

Captains jays in Taylor Michigan is the worst. I called over 10 times to place an order and no one answered, then someone finally answered and put me on hold only to hang up. I CALLED AGAIN and the girl that picked up was very unprofessional. Very sad.
