Chico's Gourmet Mexican

I eat Mexican five times a week or so grew up near Mexican village in Detroit. Okay so you say well why did I bother coming here well a lot of places I go or not all that great they're very Mexican run by lots of this many people and it does not really the food is good.
However I have decade of experience eating that often Mexican food each week.

This was not Mexican really this is not gourmet at all This is not even particularly fresh but it wasn't too bad.
I only went once I don't suspect that I'm going to go again.
They didn't have shrimp didn't have sour cream didn't have beef therefore didn't have chorizo which is odd.
The menu is very limited but has some flexibility in the create your own section so I guess technically you can make most of what you want yourself.

I feel sort of steak was okay but it's more like beef cheese steak meat.
Chicken was less good to me in some ways although it looked really good the way it was cooked.

The reds also is like chunky tomato paste out of a can for nearly no flavor and no purpose in eating at the hot sauce was I guess till the water or something it's all right that Chipotle it just mayo yuck.
Chips seem to be burned?

The only thing I really truly liked wishes a little weird was the cucumber and white sauce that was on the tacos maybe it's like Taziki? it was a weird addition had a good flavor to it that was cool I ate tacos but it was just cuz I paid $22 for that plus a Coke with a cold was good got the machine.

They barely have any paper towel or napkins although they did on the table The guy said hey there on a budget there's a little coolers that are empty it just seems like they're trying they're trying to get it going and I mean go there if you want to and if you just want to sandwich and some stuff to eat it's fine Just don't ignore the gourmet Mexican on the door that's a joke and ought to be changed.

Chico’s is definitely the spot to go to grab tastey halal food that's for sure, Sammy was was very nice and helpful!

Abe was phenomenal. His customer service was spectacular. Even though he was alone, he was a one man wrecking crewin a busy rush. Being in the industry of customer service it's something I notice and value often and he set the bar hight for any other fusion cuisine in the metro area!!!! 5*

There bowls are so good I got chicken bowl it the meat was so good and tender

Came on lunch break and was served promptly with fresh flavorful ingredients in my bowl! Will be coming back

Ok let me start by saying i drove 20-25 minutes to get here from my house only to realize that i could not sit in there because they do not have A/C and it was VERY hot, those poor girls working there all day in that heat. Ordered my food to go, and the flavor is there but the subs just had WAY too much cheese and sauce and not enough actual meat. The wings were really good. I would not even try this place again simply because of the A/C alone. Thats for any restaurant, you lose business just to save a couple hundred a month on an electric bill, is counter intuitive.

I had a long drive and showed up about 20 minutes to close. Even though it was close to closing, they were very respectful, accommodative, and provided great service. There was no more steak (again, few minutes to closing) but one of the workers took the initiative to make me a fresh batch of chorizo (amazing). The food tasted excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the employees are well versed in customer service. I will be back here again.
