“I ordered the new menu item steak and onion dinner. It came with mashed potatoes w gravy and broccoli with a side of banana nut bread. My drink was a strawberry lemonade. I was seated right away and my food took only 15 minutes at most. The dinner and drink have lots of flavor. The banana nut bread was a little too moist. I will go back again.“

“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! Thank you for a dreamy night.“

“Been here a few times since moving to Ferndale. I'm yet to have the same dish twice, and have NEVER been disappointed. The owner and staff are super friendly, my food is always ready quick, and the menu/weekly specials always have something interesting. I only wish they were open later for night owls like myself, but they're worth getting up earlier for. Go for the entrees, but don't forget to grab dessert there, too! The Coconut Cream Cake that was on special the day I'm writing this might be the best piece of cake I've ever had.“

“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. My meal was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious — no complaints at all.
What really stood out to me was the professionalism of the staff. I noticed a few customers being quite rude on Thanksgiving (of all days), and I felt genuinely bad for the young team working so hard as it was so busy. Despite the situation, they remained calm, polite, and handled everything with great maturity.
The staff truly deserve recognition for their effort and excellent performance service. I hope future guests will treat them with the kindness and respect they earn every day.“

“Noni’s HAD become the go to spot for me because I work in the area. After today, I will find another dining spot. It is not that I am so thin skinned, in today’s economy, service providers must “earn” my loyalty and patronage. Normally I carry out but today I chose to fine in. You seat yourself do I was promptly seated. The waitress took a moment to come to the table and the restaurant was only partially occupied. It took forever for her to retrieve our drinks and return to the table with them. We waited a moment to order and the food , a very simple order, fries and wings took row seemed like forever. After that, we did not hear from her again until she brought the check. Mind you, she refilled the drinks for a table right next to ours 3 times. Ok, so I asked for a refill of our drinks to go. Two of them, children’s drinks were already in styrofoam cups. She returned with a large styrofoam cup and stated she couldn’t refill the kids cups to go, because there was a limit. Because of the disappointed look on their faces, I reminded her that this would be the first refill. What upset me was that she wanted to argue with me. I politely said whatever lady. She wanted to keep it going so I obliged her and reminded her that in a service industry it behooves her to not argue with customers and just stop talking so much! She then attempted to embarrass me by yelling out in the dining room, y’all this lady mad cause I won’t give her lemonade to go. I was going to, but not now.” I responded with “I was going to tip you, but not now.” Before you go there, I do know , understand, and practice two wrongs don’t make a right. Then there are times you stand on principle. All that to say, I won’t be returning!“

“The food and owner are amazing! We used her for catering a memorial service for 60 people. There was a ton of food and everything was ate with pans scraped! The owner worked with us and our budget. She was such a blessing to our family during this hard time. People couldn’t get over how good the food was! I’ll definitely be using her again for future events and just dinner!“

“Went to famous Daves in Taylor for Dinner and our waiter Adam was aweome he had the best attitude and he always checked on our table so i would like to say thank you to say thank you to Adam for the great service“
