I visited Detroit recently and tried several Coney Island restaurants. Dearborn was by far my favorite. The coney was delicious and the chili cheese fries were very fresh and good. The chili was great, the service was amazing and friendly, and the tuna melt was the best I had ever had. I wish I could go back 100 times.
A very nice local diner,counter service only except for one table for large parties. The atmosphere is in no way fancy but this is a counter diner in a 1960s cinderblock building. The food (a hot turkey sandwich with coleslaw on the side) and coffee (decaf) were good, the service is fast, the prices are reasonable and the people are friendly. If I lived around here I would. Eva regular.
My kids and i frequently come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner ? couldn't say I recommend one thing over the other but if you're hungry - stop here ! Grab an orange juice and eat up ?
