April 2022:. They are only open for breakfast. It's a standard buffet. Many different pastries and bread, variety of fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes. Includes coffee and juice for $22 a person. Was disappointed, was looking forward to a full service meal. The furniture is old, the chairs were sagging and wobbly. It has an old charm, but needs some attention.

We came here thinking there was a Starbucks (stupid Google), but instead found Kimberly, who makes THE BEST hot chocolate and it turned out to be better than any Starbucks anyway. You won't be disappointed!

Google told us there was a Starbucks around here, we thought maybe it was inside the Marriott. Turns out it's not, but Kimberly was more than willing to accommodate our hot chocolate needs and her hot chocolate was better than any I've gotten from Starbucks!

Total ruined my Christmass, researched the Edison restaurant to have a nice Christmas with family. We all arrive there and they are closed. Thanks Gringe (edison). For ruining my families Christmas. A real class place.

It was a classy very nice place.I went to there for my early birthday breakfast with my friend. One of Very Courtesy Server making entire atmosphere to be Grand!! He is "above beyond" for his customer service!!I think his name is Mamoon (? If wrong, I'm sorry but similar sounds) I will definitely going back as long as he is working there!!!! Highly recommend for anyone. Backside courtyard is beautiful as well.

Order the waffle at the Omelet Station. It is so good and many people were raving about it. The lady preparing waffles, pancakes and eggs was very friendly. Bowls of strawberries and blue berries were available along with whipped cream. Other items on buffet such as fruits, muffins and meats were good -- but don't miss the waffle...covers the entire plate.

Good news: open every day, as of Aug. Bad news: only open for breakfast. Recently stayed at the Dearborn Inn. We were pleasantly surprised to find Edison's open. Enjoyed a very nice breakfast buffet each day. Made to order omelets, eggs, waffles, french toast, sausage, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal - all the usuals. Fruit was very nice. $20.50, includes coffee & juice, in a beautiful historic setting. Service was friendly & very good. Certainly hope they're able to re-open for dinner soon. Would love to experience it.
Better than the average bar menu, they also had some gourmet dishes

I am surprised by the marginal rating of Edison's. The menu is relatively static, so if you want new items every time you go, it is not for you. But I find the items on the menu to be classic and excellently prepared. My wife and I go regularly, and we often have the same waiter; this man has worked there for years and is both pleasant, attentive without being intrusive, and knowledgeable. On weekends, it is generally very private, as most guests are business people during the week. Even on more crowded nights, it is a comfortable experience, with comfortable seating and appealing lighting. Overall, I really enjoy Edison's.

Everything about our meal at Edison’s was wonderful! The service was top notch, and the food was fantastic. The mushroom strudel was a great starter. We also loved the seafood linguini and pork chop entrees. The best part was the dessert! The chocolate tulip was elegant, and the bread pudding was just gooey deliciousness. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. We had a wonderful evening!
