Oh my if you have never been to Ann Arbor I sooo definitely recommend Chimneys cakes café, beautiful environment. The service oh was so amazing the owner is soooo sweet and to top it the food is so good and gourmet beautiful just so beautiful. I had the O.G Chimney frutie pebble cake with strawberry ice cream, the freshest tasting strawberry ice cream taste so natural and straight from the strawberry nothing else .so please next time you take a trip to Ann Arbor stop by Chimnys House of Cakes

i love HOCC! This place is so good. The owner and her daughter are so sweet, everything is super clean, and the whole place is adorable inside and out. The food is amazing, and the vibe is just perfect. I love this place so much!

I just went there with my family. We ordered two strawberry cup with nutella. Absolutely terrible. I don't think they used nutella (it was a different chocolate creme and very watery) and they put it so little, it only covered 1/6th of the cup. Yes the lady at the server was nice and she offered us a sample. Looking at the pictures at the menu, definitely not the same at all. For $15 + tax definetely not worth it. We will not go there again.

I’ve been to this place a few times now and I just want to share an honest review. First, shoutout to the one worker (the white lady with glasses). She’s honestly the only reason I kept coming back because she actually explains the whole menu, she’s patient, and she even makes custom chimney cakes for me if the ingredients are there, even if it’s not on the menu. She actually tries to help you. The issue is the other workers don’t do that at all. If I ask for something a little different, they immediately say “it’s not on the menu” and give excuses, even though I know it can be made because that one lady makes it every time. Another thing that really bothered me is some of the workers literally have their phone calls on full speaker while I’m trying to eat or record, which is loud and annoying and just feels unprofessional. And one time I came to the store and the owner claims that their marshmallows are halal, at first I saw the marshmallows brand and it was halal but unfortunately the other day I came inside the store I ordered the same thing but for some reason the brand they used of the marshmallows were’er not halal . I saw the brand myself and it’s definitely not halal. For Muslims, that’s a serious issue, and it’s wrong to advertise something as halal when it isn’t. I’m sharing this so people know what to expect. The place has potential, and that one worker is amazing, but they need to fix the halal issue and improve the professionalism of the staff.

House of Chimney cakes in Ann Arbor is amazing. The staff had great customer service skills and the owner Amanda is sooo sweet and down to earth. She made our visit both pleasant and exciting. We will definitely be back again and again. And the atmosphere is beyond beautiful.
