We had our Class Reunion here today. Like everywhere, they were short handed, (and we had a reservation), but the cook and the server were wonderful. (And that's it folks, just those two). I might add that one of our classmates searched for a place, but no one else was willing to take on 24 people. But they did. To top it off, the internet and credit card machine were down ( we had a big storm a couple days ago) but still, it was great and they worked around it. Kudos to the staff who helped us have a really fun and memorable time.

I haven’t ate here, but I made a post on a city page about another restaurant only asking if it was open, and JP’s Bar Manager decided to say the other restaurant was closed by the Health Department due to spoiled meat, and shut down until February due to lack of workers.Both statements which are completely false.Not good business practice to drag another new local restaurant down.

Be cautious going here. Absolutely no effort was made to enforce masking, distancing or contact tracing as required. The cook walked around the bar greeting customers and did not wear a mask. Customers entered and freely walked around inside maskless, customers were allowed to sit at tables within 3-4 feet of other customers and there was no distance between stools at the bar rail. With the COVID cases rising so fast in Michigan I was very surprised to see the lack of effort by this establishment to mitigate the spread. On the positive side the chili dogs and fries were pretty good.
