Visited M Cantina expecting premium tacos but walked away shocked at the bill.
Three small steak tacos were $30, and after tax and their mandatory 20% service fee, my total for tacos and a single iced tea reached $47.88 — meaning the iced tea alone was effectively over $11.
Restaurants can charge what they want, but guests deserve straightforward pricing and respect.

M Cantina was expensive and weirdly unwelcoming, but it was beautifully decorated snd the menu looked so I put aside my misgivings. The server dutifully recited a really hard line no substitutions rule to us and the table next to us. I’ve never been to a no-substitutions kind of a place that was so stern (no hard feelings to the server, he seemed very kind, and I don’t think any of this was his fault). We loved our dining experience here. Food was great. Best chips and salsa ever. Had their watermelon drink and it was great. Great service. We’ll definitely be back.
